Galatasaray has terminated contract with its player Hamit Altintop.
Galatasaray has announced that it has terminated contract with its player Hamit Altintop who it is known didnt play for the club since last season more or less due of recieving injuries and his old age.
It needs to be reminded that there was talks for him to leave team back in summer as he was actively looking for the new team but since understanding that with his condition he will not be able to achieve to find new team he had decided with a team with only getting paid for playing time. However, he didnt manage to show much gaming time in this season and when he did play his performance was below average. Since starting getting injured several times from last season it became clear that he will not recieve much game time. Even through in previous seasons Hamit
Altintop did play an important role, for now for him to stay at team would be done both damage to him and the club due paying high salary. In total of his stay he had played 57 games and scored just one goal.
It is very likely that Hamit Altintop would carry on his career at mediocre club or even close to relegation zone team at the Super League and could become star player, but it is unlikely he would ever reached his best days.
Trabzonspor has started transfer negotiations with Emmanuel Mas.
Trabzonspor has announced today that it has started transfer negotiations with San Lorenzo player Emmanuel Mas who has recieved big interest among Turkish clubs from last summer with the big interest shown by Galatasaray.
It is known that Trabzonspor has some big issues at the specifically attacking area and is expected to be among most active clubs at this midseason break. Emmanuel Mas being an attacker is known to score high number of goals also back on San Lorenzo and could be player which could lack of goals at the Trabzonspor but it is still unclear what effect he would be on the team. The problem at the Trabzonspor is much bigger than with players as there is general lack of morale at the team. However, it is safe to be stated that that following transfer would solve attacking issue which team is currently at.
If Trabzonspor manages to transfer Emmanuel Mas than the team would certainly improve and play more active football at the front and possibly make fans to come more active to the games at the new-stadium Senol Gunes Complex when Super League would restart after break.
Mehmet Ekici wants to move to Fenerbahce.
Trabzonspor player Mehmet Ekici is reported to be interested to be transferred to Fenerbahce as the player seems to have problems at making deal regarding of the extension of the contract with his current team.
As it is known, there is seems to be disagreement regarding of salary and all of the three Istanbul clubs has started showing to Ekici. With all of the teams offering player with an alternative players such as Besiktas offering Kerim Frei, Olcay Sahan and Oguzhan Ozyakup it is known that Fenerbahce willing to give Trabzonspor Aatif Chahechouhue in return. It is reported that Fenerbahce offer seems to be more closer to the Trabzonspor with Mehmet Ekici wanting to move to Fenerbahce and plans to mention that to the administrators of the team in upcoming days. Mehmet Ekici is in calibre to be playing at the big clubs and his style of play, being at this period one of the best players at the Trabzonspor, would be suitable for Fenerbahce.
If Fenerbahce manages to transfer Mehmet Ekici it would be among best purchases team would be done in this winter break as could be seen from active demand for Ekici on this days.
