What happened in Turkish football today? 09.01.2017


Galatasaray are interested to transfer Dinamo Kiev player Domagoj Vida.

It became clear that Galatasaray are showing an interest to transfer Dinamo Kiev player Domagoj Vida according to the rumours which been written by the Turkish media today.

It is known that for long time, Besiktas was team which was interested with Croatian player and the rumours surrounding transfer negotiations has been started during Euro 2016. However, right now there is talks at the media that Galatasaray has made even more distance with this transfer and are close to agree into transfer fee. Domagoj Vida is a good quality and Turkish viewers were able to observe him during Euro 2016 as their were in same group with Turkey and also at the Champions League. He is strong defender and has all chances to push this area for Galatasaray if he able to come.

Stating that, it is known that Dinamo Kiev are reluctant to sell or loan him and hence Galatasaray needs to consider to use some cash for this transfer.

Bursaspor are interested to transfer Genclerbirligi player Bogdan Stancu

Bursaspor head coach Hamza Hamzaoglu has confirmed rumours that club is interested to purchase Genclerbirligi player Bogdan Stancu after rumours start going around from this morning.

With Hamza Hamzaoglu stating himself to the media, the team has been pretty slow at transferring players and has stated that in few days time the club might announce transfer however. It is expected that it would be Bogdan Stancu who has good experience at the Super League for almost 10 years now, starting with Galatasaray and later playing for Orduspor in days when club was at the Super League. Stancu is certainly among good foreign players at the Super League who play at the mediocre teams. His good skills would certainly help Bursaspor to improve its play.

It will not be surprising if Stancu himself would look forward to move, as all to respect to Genclerbirligi, Bursaspor is a better team with better chance to compete at the Europa in upcoming season.

Besiktas are interested to transfer Anzhi player Pylyp Budkovski.

With Besiktas not being able to make deal with Antalyaspor player Samuel Eto'o it is expected that full focus right now would be given to Anzhi player Pylyp Budkovski.

Even through their are many other names as alternatives to Eto'o, it is needed to be stated that in sense of purchasing Budkovski is easiest. Being a young player he also gives some hopes for development and hence good investment for the future both to the teams and financially. Stating that it is expected that Besiktas would do some additional research at the player and if their do find him suitable for team.

If transfer will take place, he would become another relatively young player after Matej Mitrovic who have potentially to make mark at the team in the future.
