Besiktas is start losing tempo
As the game between Bursaspor and Besiktas at the Super League 10th week was progressing, it was giving signs that for the 4th time in a row, including Europa League games, Besiktas will end game with a draw. However, hard effort goal by Oguzhan Ozyakup with great team play has brought very important victory for the team prior to national team break.
Regarding of the game performance, the game was going into slow tempo with sometimes an attacks given by two teams. The following tempo, was going into advantage of Bursaspor as it allowed them to find position and plus in game like that draw will be seen as good result.
Besiktas compare to previous weeks does lose tempo and start having signs of lack of excitement it had in beginning of the season also signs of worry which it had in previous season as games progressed. Good thing for Besiktas is that it has Senol Gunes as head coach who has experience and character to solve this worries in players and administrators and let team to go forward. Surely, those works will be done at a team in national team break.
Oguzhan Ozyakup goal, one of the main players of the club, has allowed club to get into 2 point difference to 2nd placed Fenerbahce. A break would be useful for the club.
Fenerbahce focus to defence made their attack weaker.
Fenerbahce performance against Konyaspor at the Super League in today's game was very similar to the performance which it provided in Europa League game against Ajax. Only main difference it has managed to find a goal.
Fenerbahce head coach Vitor Pereira's defence was criticised a lot during previous games as conceding numerous goals while winning especially during second half. Therefore, it seems to be reasonable that Pereira has focussed a lot at the defence aspect of the team. However, it does look like by focussing too much into defence the attack aspect became weaker. Fenerbahce has done lesser effective shots to goal today game and against Ajax than prior to them.
Meanwhile, Konyaspor which was performing good few weeks ago, didnt provide anything for Fenerbahce to be worried about. It didnt aim to attack effectively and instead, as most mediocre teams do against big 4 teams, didnt provide anything to make club goalkeeper Volkan Demirel to be worried at all.
Meanwhile, in a goal factor Fernandao once again proved to Fenerbahce fans that he plays an important role to bring victories to his team, as he did last season with Bursaspor.
Galatasaray needs to focus on not to lose while winning.
Yesterday game between Rizespor and Galatasaray, which has ended with 4:3 scoreline and has contained everything what the football fans are awaiting for prior to watching great football game. It had drama, last minute goals and change of scoreline without knowing what would happen next at the game.
Some of the Galatasaray fans and observers would focus into Galatasaray conceding two goals in additional time of second half. However, this would be done injustice towards Rizespor players who managed to turn scoreline around in last 3 minutes. Unfortunately, that is matter of Turkish media giving focus into big 4 teams didnt realise this factor.
After game Galatasaray head coach Hamza Hamzaoglu stated that some lessons needs to be learned as it is not first game where it loss while winning. Reasons of this is drop of concentration by players while winning. This seems to be most important aspect club should focus at during this national team break.
