What happened in Turkish football today? 14.11

Paris attacks raises some concerns about Euro 2016.

Yesterday's uncomprehensible terror attacks by, presumably, ISIS in Paris which happened during friendly game between France and Germany open questions of the security at the next year of Euro 2016.

The reason of the attacks of course is not only based into upcoming European Championships but the timing of the game of two giants does question security of the tournament to take place. With Turkey being at the competition also, it could quite reasonably question security of the its national team also, as ISIS has stated numerously that it will do attacks in Turkey.

Despite of there is not much terror attacks to be taking place during sports events it is known that those events is being vurnerable for such events hence rise of security. UEFA and French Football Federation dont talk about change of location of the Euro 2016 and security but surely this question will be opened. Quite with high possibilty Euro 2016 will take place in France but with extreme security never seen before in previous European Championships.
Game against Greece is crucial for none quarenteed players.

Since friendly game about Qatar and Turkey was a friendly it is more important to look at performance wise at the team than importance of win to the Turkey, even through it does go to FIFA coefficient points. Interestingly, Turkish national team head coach Fatih Terim did show some unhappiness with yesterday performance especially criticising RB Leibzig Atinc Nukan. It is quite understanble that

Fatih Terim despite of games being friendlies, expects best performance by his players especially ones whose place at Euro 2016 squad is not guareenteed. For instance, Arda Turan, Caner Erkin, Mehmet Topan and Hakan Calhanoglu places are quareenteed but players like Atinc Nukan need still to prove to get its place in squad.

Fatih Terim did state that he will include other names for Greece game so it is certain that Terim is uncertain about substitute and reserve players at team, who could be crucial due of possible injuries taking place during tournament in France. Therefore, to some extend Greece game is more important to uncertain players.

Vodafone Arena might be ready on March.

Besiktas is starting countdown for the opening of the Vodafone Arena, its home ground at which roof construction is coming to its conclusion. It is expected that stadium will be opened around March 2016 and expects to end its league marathon at the home ground possibly lifting title.

Besiktas poor performance towards end of the season in the previous years had many factors but one of the main was the lack of stadium. Now, assuming in March (after around 12-13 games) Besiktas is still at the title race it will have great advantage for a club to lifting title. In either way, it will affect certainly next season to the club.

Meanwhile, it is forecasted that stadium might be ready on 26th week game against Antalyaspor which could be played on 19th March. 19 March has been treated by Besiktas fans as "World's Besiktas Day" (19.03- year when Besiktas was founded).
