What happened in Turkish football today? 12.11

Passolig should be simplified not cancelled.

Constitutional Court as been expected has declined a case against electronic ticket system Passolig, which was requested to be cancelled by a number of fans, with the support of CHP party.

As it is been talked frequently in Turkey Passolig system was criticised for the confusion of the system and too much technology to be present which confuses ordinary people. For instance, it is known that owners of Passolig is much higher than actual fans who visit at the games in stadium. Reasons of this could be either of quality of football, price of tickets or confusion of the system. Passolig as the system is needed for security but the way it is done  should be simplified.

The argument was cancellation was for taking too much information from card owner but the information available at the system is same as in simple passport. However the simplified system would bring some lost fans back to stadiums.

Turkish national team game against Qatar should be used to identify weaknesses.

Tomorrow Turkish national team will play against Qatar National Team in Doha, as it been stated in yesterday blog as the first test prior to Euro2016 final tournament taking place in France next summer.

As been stated yesterday, this game will provide chance for a team to check new and young names such as Atinc Nukan and Yunus Malli, and start realising weaknesses which should be focussed at prior to Euro2016.

Unfortunately for Turkey, Qatar won't be able to provide clear idea as it is not in strength of most teams qualified to France, but still it is good opponent to find weaknesses of players themselves which happen just in game.

Trabzonspor football team won't solve it issues as those issues beyond players.

Reaction of the resignation of Trabzonspor head coach Shota Arveladze is still taking place today around Turkish footballing world. Today's club player Erkan Zengin has stated that he is saddened to hear resignation and has stated that players should find mistakes in themselves.

Trabzonspor current CEO Ibrahim Haciosmanglu was changing head coaches so frequently during his reign that it is unsurprising to call him impatient and see this resignation to take place. The timing is also quesitonable as it is hard to find replacement as mid-season, especially when club is liking for big name.

To be honest, I dont think resignation of Shota Arveladze would solve issues at the football team as the issues is deeper in the club, even beyond control of football team.
