Control but low tempo by Turkey during frienly game against Greece.
Turkish national team has continued its preparation for the Euro 2016 final tournament which will take place next year in France with the friendly game with its neighbours Greece. The game which took place with low tempo was in control of Turkish national team.
The result of the game which has ended with goalless draw, should not be surprising as it was friendly game and in addition it allowed for Turkey to end 2015 year without loss. Including friendlies and Euro 2016 qualifies Turkey has got 7 wins and 3 draws during that period.
Returning to the game, Turkey has played with a control but without taking any risks at game with sudden finding attacks which it could not turn into goals. Biggest advantage of the game was providing young players and first timers to get a fill of responsibility and stress of playing for own country, this experience will be advantage for future call to the team which qualified to European Championship.
However, one thing is certain team needs to play its next friendly games in March with more tougher opponents, possibly even with the teams which has qualified to final tournament. Those opponents will provide idea how much Turkey is ready for France.
Impatience at the Trabzonspor makes some players unhappy.
Following termination of the contract by Trabzonspor and Jose Bosingwa few weeks ago, another player has terminated contract with most talked club in Turkey in recent weeks. Kevin Constant who was among key players has ended his contract, after he have joined club 3 years ago.
Almost back to back termination of contracts of those two players seems to show that there is also issues taking place among players and administrators at Trabzonspor and raises questions if more names will carry on ending their contract in team. It is hard to play at the Trabzonspor especially with impatient fans and clubs administration, especially CEO Ibrahim Haciosmanoglu who puts pressure into team.
Reason of the impatience is of not getting league titles for almost 20 years, even through club would argue that it did become 3 years ago but its was stolen from them. New players at the club, especially foreigners, should now that this pressure at club could have negative sides to them before joining such passionate team.
Samet Aybaba could solve Eskisehirspor issues.
Eskisehirspor, club which has bad season and has arleady managed to change head coaches twice following 11 weeks of this season, has appointed experienced Samet Aybaba as head coach.
Samet Aybaba is among numerous head coaches who have managed teams which are mediocre in Turkish league and should be able to treat issues of bad results in those clubs. But Eskisehirspor is way below its game potential and has high amount of issues which should be solved. It is important for Samet Aybaba to treat this issues one by one and have patience with the administrators of club.
Compare to previous head coach, Ismail Kartal, Samet Aybaba should be able to solve those issues due of his experience but it is important that players also give right reaction to probably big changes which Samet Aybaba will bring in the club.
