Zekeriya Alp resigns from Central Referee Committee position.
Central Referee Committee CEO Zekeriya Alp has announced his resignation from his post, as there were reports that there is being disagreements between him and also TFF administration.
As it would be remembered, some days ago there were some changes in the guidelines of committee which included such changes as not allowing relatives to be taking refereeing roles, which included referees and observer. There were reports that during that changes, there were disagreements what to include or not, and even through this change been agreed, this is being actually minor factor and both sides were actually planning for bigger changes but didnt come into agreement which led for this disagreements which led for him to resign. In addition, it should be confidently stated that also performance of referees during Super League games which is not being very satisfying including with VAR also likely led for resignation due of high amount complaints on previous season.
Therefore, with all this issues it should not be seen as big surprise for such resignation to be taking place just few weeks before restart of the league.
Basaksehirspor has extended contract with Martin Skrtel for 1-year
Basaksehirspor has extend contract with one of its key players Martin Skrtel who without doubt did play crucial role for his side to get historical league title and provide in general good performance at Europa League.
Martin Skretl has been known to be feeling comfortable and happy at Basaksehirspor and with getting opportunity to be competing at Champions League as he is likely getting close to end of his prime years due of age did make good decision. In other hand, this extension without doubt would also keep Basaksehirspor strong defence which as it is known always crucial role in tactical performance. Without doubt, Skrtel also has impressive experience at Champions League which would only provide advantage to the side. Therefore, this should be seen as win-win deal for both side as Basaksehirspor surely did set high aims.
However, with setting high aims it does need to carry on making transfers if it want to leave mark at Champions League.
Fatih Karagumruk has signed Emiliano Viviano.
Fatih Karagumruk has signed Emiliano Viviano to the goalkeeper position which without doubt has been one of the best option side could make taking account its limited financial situation.
Without doubt, Viviano is not in level of Joe Hart who has been rumoured wrongly of making deal with them but as been noted by club CEO Suleyman Hurma, he does have good experience and even been selected to Italian National Team even if being as substitute. With such good experience from some of the top leagues, Viviano would be helping a lot for side to achieve its aim at staying in the league which is likely to be main aim especially when 4 sides would be relegated. It does look from side that Fatih Karagumruk is having active transfer window but it needs to carry on doing so without forgetting its economy condition among it.
Still, Fatih Karagumruk from 1st look does look to be made good transfer for its goalie position for next season.
