Besiktas continues winning habit at Turkish Cup.

Besiktas has managed to transform its high level performance and winning habit to Turkish Cup as it has beaten 24 Erzincanspor with 3:0 scoreline providing confident and strong performance with its substitutes.

After going through 1-season ban from Turkish Cup during last season, Besiktas has managed to get into strong comeback beating one of the weakest sides which are left in the Turkish Cup. In similar manner, Abdullah Avci did start game mainly with substitutes and younger players which did show full seriousness for the game providing organised and forward seeking. With 3:0 scoreline win at home ground, Besiktas therefore did get huge advantage in this tie and even more importantly continues to showing winning performance which without doubt it aims to carry on at least until mid-season. Without doubt, when Besiktas only recently been seen among dissapointing season, now has become one of the main league title candidates as long as both technical staff and players will carry on showing top level performance in each game both in league and cup.

24 Erzincanspor being 3 tiers below Besiktas in league system did come out as underdogs in fairness their tried to provide some good performance during game and as side did get some good experience in game.

Galatasaray has lost to Tuzlaspor in huge surprising way.

Galatasaray has got surprising result during Turkish Cup 5th round 1st leg game as it has lost to 3rd tier side Tuzlaspor with 2:0 scoreline as players who mainly come as substitute to the game has failed to provide any seriousness to the game.

Quite naturally,it was expected that Galatasaray would have comfortable game against Tuzlaspor due of difference between side but it ended up being game where Tuzlaspor has took this game in more serious manner and did win not only pure of luck but being much stronger side from start to an end. Galatasaray players has provided pretty slow pace game without creating much chances and also had made very simple amateur mistakes. It needs to be noted that on period when Fatih Terim is clearly unhappy with performance of starting 11 in league, substitutes could use this game with strong advantage but their decided to provide slow pace.This attitude for sure would mean that Galatasaray needs to wake up those players and make some revisions during mid-season transfer window.

Galatasaray did provide very poor performance against Tuzlaspor and it still can turn around this tie in 2 weeks time but this performance is not acceptable at all.

Sturridge and Sorloth been good example to younger teammates

Trabzonspor did have some difficulties during Turkish Cup 5th round against 2nd division side Altay as it has managed to get win thanks to its main two players Daniel Sturridge and Alexander Sturlidge.

When coming to domestic games, we did state several times that Trabzonspor for most amount of time is providing good level performance and it needed to do so. Meanwhile, Trabzonspor head coach Unal Karaman in similar manner as top coaches also provided focus to give time to its substitutes and youth players who even provided good level performance did manage to prevent Altay to give some problems to team. What is crucial meanwhile here is that Altay did get away goal so there need to be careful for 2nd leg game as Altay which is been regular at Super League some time ago would be expected to provide some good football as their did yesterday. Still with good performance, focus and motivation Trabzonspor would be coming as favourites in return game.

Role which Sorloth and Sturridge apart of providing winning goals, has also provided good example to younger players so in this sense it could be seen as successful night for team.
