Trabzonspor got crucial win without providing great game during 2nd half.
Trabzonspor has got crucial win during Super League 16th week against Konyaspor with 1:0 scoreline despite of providing poor 2nd half where it has only focussed into defensive game possibly being too worried to concede goal.
It needs to be noted that game has been divided into two halves where Trabzonspor did show good and attacking game during which it has found goal thanks to Alexander Sorloth who carries on finding goal during each game and generally did manage to provide good pressure towards Konyaspor. However, things did turn around during 2nd half where Trabzonspor has been more focussed into defensive game while Konyaspor did everything to find crucial goals as their aimed to stop poor performance which their had shown in recent weeks. Trabzonspor on their part with possible conceding goals in recent games after scoring and hence with losing points has provided some psychological pressure towards side without doubt and hence did provide controllable game. It is hard hence to state that Trabzonspor did provide good performance but their got important 3 points which has led them to be 4 points behind leaders Sivasspor and move up to 3rd spot.
Konyaspor without doubt did everything to find goal but didnt get that result in the end of the day which mainly been due of psychological negative effect for not winning for 6 weeks. With playing last game in 1st half of Alanyaspor, it would go to break which would be important for them mentally.
Trabzonspor didnt provide great game but as been noted has got crucial 3 points and can look for next games with high motivation.
Fenerbahce has got well-deserved win against Besiktas
Fenerbahce has provided one of its best performances during this season and also during recent derby games as it has won against Besiktas with 3:1 scoreline providing much more better organised, high tempo game with an aim to win game.
Even through game has been overshadowed from rumours regarding with arguments between Fenerbahce head coach Ersun Yanal and player Emre Belozoglu with both sides stating that its not true, it needs to be stated that Fenerbahce has provided full attention towards game. Fenerbahce main aim against Besiktas has to be first to win game and secondly to provide high tempo game and with Besiktas not being able to respond has led them to control whole game. For sure, main player of whole game has been Ozan Tufan who since last season has shown incredible comeback to football and managed to take leading role during whole game and also has scored very good goal from far distance. It needs to be noted that even through Tufan does standout, whole squad did provide great performance and this willingness to win game has led therm to get well-deserved win in such crucial derby game. Meanwhile, it is unlikely that Ersun Yanal would be resigned as coach after his short but shocking statement, but rather message to someone, which he would announce during this week.
Fenerbahce got seriously strong motivation and confidence for last game of 1st half against Rizespor and for 2nd half of the season with this win
Besiktas didnt have full focus to Fenerbahce game.
Besiktas on other hand did provide quite opposite of performance which was shown by Fenerbahce during the game as it lacked concentration from start to end and couldnt provide needed reaction during whole game for sure.
Besiktas quite rightfully does provide some criticism towards referee decision during game but it needs to be noted that even through those penalties would be given by referee, it did provide pretty poor performance with Atiba Hutchinson being only player which has shown high level performance and did find goal in end of 2nd half due of Fenerbahce losing concentration in only moment during whole game. It needs to be noted that Besiktas head coach hence didnt provide right focus and attention to the game which led for them to lose such game as it did provide simple game plan which was to provide long ball. Meanwhile, it is important to praise players and Avci not to provide too much comments regarding referee performance following game and approving that their did provided bad game, which does provide realisitation that team would aim to continue for upcoming games.
Besiktas did provide poor performance but now side would focus to provide strong reaction and good game against Genclerbirligi during last week prior to mid-season break.
