Trabzonspor once again lost points while getting in front during game.
Trabzonspor ex-player Hugo Rodallega with finding 2 goals has provided an important win for Denizlispor which also provided without doubt very important and high level game, as Trabzonspor has lost once again when going forward with scoreline.
It needs to be noted that Trabzonspor did provide strong and confident performance during 1st half even through it didnt get many chances but did provide forward seeking football and did find good goal which came from own goal. However, it didnt manage to keep its leadership as the team being most team to lose points when going forward as its not able to provide similar performance at front and focussing too much into defensive which could be mainly due of psychological issues more then physical. It needs to be also mentioned that Denizlispor did provide strong and positive seeking reaction during 2nd half to which Trabzonspor has lacked to provide response to which therefore has cost them 2 conceded goals. Therefore, with mid-season break coming up very soon, it looks to be area for team to work most on as it would be hard to stay at title race while it losses points when leading whole game.
Denizlispor it needs to be noted didnt start game very well and allowed to control ball, but showed strong reaction during 2nd half getting upper hand not only with turning scoreline but also game wise and currently being team to get most points in away games.
Trabzonspor continued it issues to lose points when going into leading position at game and conceding at each game and now as whole team need to find solutions for this problem it has.
Sivasspor has provided more like champions contenters then its opponents.
With beating Fenerbahce during Super League 15th week game with 3:1 scoreline and providing good performance, Sivasspor without doubt did provide look that their are leaders in the league not for chance.
In other hand, Fenerbahce with its performance did make it clear that their are not providing yet performance which could bring them league title as there been particularly slow with showing tempo and creating chances, which is not unacceptable performance against league leaders and hence for now being direct opponent at title race. It was also noticed that players has been mainly treated game in more mental focussed then physically, which specifically has been seen from 2 yellow cards from Ozan Tufan which did come from needless complaint from himself but also players has been busy to provide fast performance and aiming to get ball into field but when their did their didnt do much with it providing low number of chances, and apart of them wasting them. It needs to be noted that Sivasspor which without doubt did deserve this win, could actually even get more comfortable outcome if it didnt waste number of the chances during game, an area which it needs to improve still
Still, Sivasspor did look more like side which is aiming for league title compare to Fenerbahce which from start of the season states that its favourite for title.
Besiktas lacked creativity against Yeni Malatyaspor.
Even through Besiktas did provide full control of the game until 85th minute during Super League 15th week game against Yeni Malatyaspor, lack of providing performance and high focus of its opponent let them lose game with 2:0 scoreline.
Yeni Malatyaspor possible first time during this season, has provided highly defensive performance which been focussed not for Besiktas to get many chances. This tactic does have some issues as single loss of concentration could led team to lose game, but Malatyaspor high focus and losing its opportunities did lead for team to win. However, another aspect for Besiktas has been lack of providing creative performance in the attack especially with Adem Ljajic still being from expected performance which has shown during last season. Besiktas still needs to find ways how to get chances against closed defence sides if it wants to win league as this aspect would have direct role. By the way Caner Erkin, who does get cards in this circumstance pretty offten, has got red card from 2 yellows for providing complaints to referee which is without doubt is unexpectable action for player in such crucial games
Besiktas did provide some good performance, but it needs to be noted that Yeni Malatyaspor provided good and organised game which been mainly due of strong preparation for game.
