Galatasaray with main squad got into last 16 of Turkish Cup

Galatasaray has managed to get win against Tuzlaspor during Turkish Cup 5th round game with 4:0 scoreline after surprisingly losing to them during 1st leg and hence has managed to get to the last 16 with 4:2 aggregate scoreline.

Galatasaray losing 1st leg with 2:0 scoreline has led for them to provide strong reaction in this game both from players and head coach Fatih Terim and Terim has provided such reaction with introducing main squad to game. With Galatasaray main squad being high level team compare to Tuzlaspor even if its not having good season, did provide them as strong favourites to turn around this tie. With Galatasaray ending 1st half and providing much more simpler controllable game in 2nd half did make it clear that team has aimed to turn around as soon as it can and afterwards to slow down pace. It was also important for players like Radamel Falcao to find goal as it did provide strong confidence and motivation for upcoming game as this goal could provide some focus and motivation for upcoming games for sure. This win with turning around such tie, regardless of poor opponent, could provide some motivation for at least next 2 games until midseason break.

Tuzlaspor did come out to game with strong advantage but when it got into main squad of opponent, it could have lead them to get difficult time and with Galatasaray finding 3 goals in 1st half, it did have some difficult issues to control game.

Galatasaray did recieve lots of criticisim both during 1st leg and also in recent weeks, so it was for players important to provide turning point for this game and could turn provide important for upcoming games.

Trabzonspor once again lost points when going ahead

Trabzonspor have joined into this week habit of top 4 teams in country, with losing points this week as it has lost to Denizlispor with 2:1 scoreline during Super League 15th week with showing its weakest aspects of this season.

Trabzonspor continues with losing points after getting ahead as it went in front during 1st half and did provide very good performance during that period getting whole control of the game but didnt able to provide similar performance during 2nd half. Stating that it would need to be noted also that Trabzonspor didnt really show full dominance lacking to create chances in 1st half. To some extend, Denizlispor did provide bad start during game, but when 2nd half started it turned around its performance which therefore also affected whole game as Denizlispor has provided confident attacking game creating chances and finding goals thanks to Trabzonspor ex-player Hugo Rodallega. Trabzonspor did look to be specifically poor and did have some serious issues to go front and this area which team need to improve on for sure if it wants to fight for league title.

Trabzonspor once again has lost points when going forward making it 14 points lost points and this which looks to be mental issues needs to be solved from technical staff.

Besiktas would be coming to 24 Erzincanspor with full calmness.

Besiktas would be coming out to Turkish Cup 5th round 2nd leg game against 3rd division lower side 24 Erzincanspor with strong 3:0 advantage, and can provide some playing time to its academy players to get some playing time.

In similar manner, as in 1st leg game Besiktas would get important opportunity for younger players to get some playing time in this performance which Besiktas is more or less has secured last 16, unless 24 Erzincanspor gets historical comeback. It needs to be reminded that during 1st leg, Abdullah Avci did provide some playing time to its youngsters so their played crucial role for this side to come up to this game in calm and confident way. It would be good chance for those players once again provide some view to technical staff and provide some positive promises for future their career both in club and for country.

It is also for sure good aspect to come up in this game in calm manner, in the week where it would be playing crucial game against Fenerbahce in the league,in similar manner as it would be for opponents also.
