Besiktas got comfortable win against Kayserispor.
Besiktas has got pretty comfortable win against Kayserispor during Super League 13th week with 4:1 scoreline as it provided strong attacking game especially during 1st half with providing one of the highest position football.
It needs to be noted that without doubt Besiktas has provided such high number of possessions and also goals due of opponent Kayserispor which is currently located at last place and doesnt get good results during recent weeks. Despite of that, it was important for Besiktas to show strong effective game with highly forward-seeking performance to get motivation for upcoming games, and with finding 4 goals and highly concentrated game it did achieve such aim. Meanwhile, it needs to be admitted that there was interesting VAR decision when prior to 2nd goal of Besiktas, Caner Erkin before passing to Burak Yilmaz it was clear that ball came out from field. This position did go towards VAR but in surprising fast way has been given which does provide some questions about effectivity of VAR in Turkey. Stating that, even if this goal rightly would been disallowed , it will not change outcome of the game a lot as Besiktas did control game while Kayserispor did look weak and ineffective during whole game.
This game without doubt did make it clear that Kayserispor are going through difficult period as it couldnt provide high level performance and apart of goal and few good chances, it didnt provide much attacks. Bulent Uygun does have difficult task to raise team from this poor results.
Besiktas did win 5 games back-to- back and currently are 3 points behind leaders Sivasspor but what is more important it provided most attacking game this season even through opponent allowed them to some extend.
Trabzonspor has been closer to get win.
Turkish Super League 13th week game between Trabzonspor and Galatasaray has been played between both teams which wanted to win game even through it did lack high amount of chances during 90 minutes.
Stating that it needs to be noted that when coming into controlling ball and creating chances, Trabzonspor has been more effective with creating chances especially with Alexander Sorloth who has scored goal but also didnt managed to convert 2 chances which could provide confident win to them. As it conceded in last minute of the game would provide dissapointment to them even through Galatasaray was coming during last minutes of the game as Galatasaray did get control of the game while Trabzonspor went mainly into defensive football, which was bad tactic for them. Still, even through Trabzonspor could provide better performance it didnt show very poor performance taking account that there were some absent players and did provide good fight for win with Sorloth once again showing his crucial role for team he has.
Trabzonspor therefore didnt provide its perfect game but still it is been side which been closer for win when looking at performance.
Galatasaray has shown great fighting spirit but quality is still not enough.
Coming to Galatasaray, it is hard to state that club has shown good performance but it was first game during this season at Super League, where it has shown strong fighting spirit to get at least point even through it was visible after conceding goal.
For sure, when coming to performance Galatasaray did provide some weak performance which could be explained in fairness of not having at its disposal its strong attackers who couldnt show strong effective game. But this willingness at wanting to win game did play its important role during game which led them to find chance when Yuto Nagatamo did score great goal from distance reminding his quality which seemed to be lacking during this season for him. After this game, it would be also important for Galatasaray to focus into improving its performance for all players and make it join with quality which without doubt would transform into good results for them and lead team to become once again among main favourites at title race. It did provide signs of being able to show that performance last 30 minutes against Trabzonspor but it needs to do that for 90 minutes in all upcoming games to achieve its main aim.
Galatasaray did give some good images during Trabzonspor game but it has lots of improvement to do without doubt.
