Fenerbahce aims to fight for title chance until end of the season

One of the questions which was considering for Fenerbahce performance during Super League 30th week game against Antalyaspor is how Turkish Cup semi-final 2nd leg game against Besiktas would affect to their performance. It became clear that it didnt provide any psychological problems for the side as it has won game with comfortable 4:1 scoreline.

Fenerbahce game out to the game with only focus to win it as it has provided an effective attacking game as soon as game has started which led to finding two early goals and also disallowed goal from Roman Neustadner due of offside which should be counted as it came from Antalyaspor player to him from Josef de Souza pass. Fenerbahce did concede too simple goal from big defensive game but it has managed to dominate game during 2nd half where it has found other two goals. Therefore, it could be stated in comfortably that physically and mentally the team didnt give up their title race and would give their best performance for last 4 games for certain. Taking account that Galatasaray and Besiktas would be meeting this weekend it would raise its chance for league title for little more with result coming out from that game.

Before that, Fenerbahce would meet with Kasimpasa on 28th April and with a win would be providing some pressure to all of the opponents above them currently at the table.

There are 6 scenarious regarding fate of Turkish Cup game between Fenerbahce and Besiktas.

Another subject area which Fenerbahce are looking for, and so are Besiktas, is decision which would be given by TFF regarding of the abandoned Turkish Cup semi-final 2nd leg game which would decide games fate as their are in total 6 outcomes which could be done.

It does look like that more likely chances are being only 3 which is either forfeit game either to Fenerbahce and Besiktas, with foremost being more likely as it happened at the Fenerbahce stadium and naturally it takes all of the responsbility of the events which took place. While 3rd option which is heavily discussed is being to continue game from where it has stopped which is especially being requested from Fenerbahce head coach Aykut Kocaman while Besiktas head coach Senol Gunes is reported at saying that he would not come out if game would be continued. There are also other chances which is that both sides could be forfeited,in which case Akhisarspor would be winning Turkish Cup automatically. There is also chance that game would be ended with this result and hence would mean that Fenerbahce would get to the final with 0:0 scoreline which is very unlikely to happen. Most least likely scenario is that game would be started from beginning which is very unlikely scenario especially taking account that Besiktas player Pepe red card has been accepted from TFF.

This are main scenarios which people are talking about but final decision is expected to be made from TFF on 25th April after meeting between everyone involved at decision side.

Fenerbahce CEO Aziz Yildirim provided his stance at Turkish Cup final.

Meanwhile, Fenerbahce CEO Aziz Yildirim and administrator Sekip Mostoroglu has made press conference today discussing about their stance regarding of events which took place at Turkish Cup game against Besiktas, mainly repeating what was arleady known from their perspective.

To some extend, as been mentioned that this conference didnt provide much new information apart of providing their stance with more proofs and statements. Only change which could be noteworthy is that Aziz Yildirim expects for game to be forfeited and end with loss of 3:0 towards Besiktas as their entered to the changing room before decision of referee in their perspective. Yildirim once again stated that Senol Gunes has provided theatre in his actions and that there wasnt anything serious which happened at area. He stated that he went into better condition to changing room compare to how he came out from there and that does raises questions if something happened at the changing room. It needs to be stated that all of this blames is taking into ridiculous level from both sides as both teams does take aim to show themselves right. But it can be stated that in recent pasts the competition between Besiktas and Fenerbahce has went into other level which does raise some worrying questions of how this outcome did come place.

Again, still Fenerbahce did right thing to provide this press conference as it provided us to see how Aziz Yildirim and his administration sees events which happened at infamous Turkish Cup game.
