What happened in Turkish football today? 12/04/2018

Besiktas would be aiming for win to have chance to get into crucial steps for league title.

Intense title race would be resumed with an openning game of the Super League 29th week between Akhisarspor and Besiktas as with Galatasaray losing last week to Genclerbirligi it has raised motivation and confidence to Besiktas.

With taking account that top 2 places would be meeting against each other on 15th April, Besiktas game against Akhisarspor has become even more important as it has chance to either equalize or get 1 point behind of league leaders at the end of the week. Taking account that Ricardo Quaresma among other key players would be coming back to starting 11 after going through 6-week ban, it could be stated that team would be playing with its best squad against Akhisarspor who is more likely to focus into Turkish Cup semi-final 2nd leg game against Galatasaray rather than do this game. However, it is important for Besiktas to stay focussed for the game from start to an end as loss of even 2 points could cost them them league title as all teams are aiming to win all 6 games. It also needs to be remembered that if game even ends with draw Fenerbahce would have chance to equalise points with Besiktas. With all this taking account it shows how crucial result of this game to Besiktas and also other opponents.

Besiktas would be coming out as favourite especially with last week win against Goztepe with 4:1 scoreline and also chance to get into leadership but this season is known to make many surprises.

Running Super League as organisation from club members could be great financial solution.

Kayserispor CEO and Clubs Union CEO assistant Erol Bedir has reminded about importance for creation of Super League as company, similar manner as Premier League in England, as important role to reduce debts which clubs are currently having.

The talks about making Super League system where it would be organised as company which would include members of all 18 clubs at Super League has been discussed for long time from Clubs Union members. The system which is been run by Turkish Football Federation does specifically provide damage to the clubs among transfer deals which includes not being taxes for them which hence leads them to have high transfer fees. Right now every club in Turkey has high amount of debt which sometimes is being even double of their gains per season and hence shows that it is uncapable to solve this issue. With unstable economical condition at exchange also does huge damage to the clubs and loses trust from UEFA regarding of FFP regulations. Hence, Super League creating and running its as company would be able to solve those issues with specific rules which would be focussed for good of the clubs as it would be created by them.

One of the ways in modern football is how clubs are managed financially and this is known to be huge issue among Turkish clubs and this suggestion could be huge solution.

CSKA Moscow are also showing interest to transfer Anderson Talisca.

Interest towards Besiktas-loaned Benfica player Anderson Talisca for upcoming transfer window is keep taking place as it has become clear that CSKA Moscow has joined among clubs who are interested to transfer him.

With CSKA Moscow always having big aims not only in domestic but also in European football this transfer would be able to make them stronger side and with Besiktas does have trouble at making deal about extension of contract with Benfica and also player himself among salary, CSKA Moscow could be able to get him but does have also other big opponents. It does look difficult right now for Besiktas to keep Talisca due of financial condition and FFP issues with UEFA right now and hence it does look that fate of players lies with his decisions and Benfica with Besiktas at best could find ways to provide best offer and hope that it would be accepted from both parties.

Anderson Talisca does seem to be among most discussed issues in summer transfer window and time would show if he would be able to stay at Besiktas or carry on his career outside Turkey.
