Galatasaray has won an important game against Basaksehirspor with using home ground advantage to a max.
Galatasaray has got very important win against Basaksehirspor and has regained top position at Super League with a 2:0 win with help of its supporters who has pushed team forward during the game with help of Mariano beautiful goal.
Galatasaray has shown dominating game from start to an end as it came out for the game with one focus which was to win game. Without doubt for team to show forward seeking game and high passion has pushed from strong support from fans. Interestingly, Bafetembi Gomis which was pushing always team forward and finding chances and goals wasnt very productive which could be raised to only good aspect which was done by Basaksehirspor during game. Even through Galatasaray has been better side which has been dominating game from start to end it was clear that goal would come from one special touch and that touch has come with very beautiful left-leg shot from Mariano. Again Galatasaray didnt specifically play very effective game prior to 1st goal but it has managed to control ball much better and didnt allow Basaksehirspor to control ball at all and has shown with fans that it was aiming for a win today. It is question though if their would be able to carry on during away games.
On other hand, Basaksehirspor has shown very poor performance taking account into important of this game which could put them into strong advantage spot for league title. Taking also account that Basaksehirspor has always shown strong performance against big 4 teams it was seen as big surprise for such poor performance at this crucial games. It is possible to state that pressure which was provided from media prior to game, Galatasaray players and performances but the level of all players at the squad needed to show much better performance at this game. Basaksehirspor didnt create any difficult chances which would be remembered and has provided high number of mistakes during passes which has led for the game to end with this scoreline. Basaksehirspor has lost its advantage but is still 1 point behind of leaders Galatasaray and would now focus to Kayserispor game next week.
Galatasaray right now has an advantage of the league as it only team which would title if it gets all 15 points but having 3 away games this season it does have some worries if it would be able to achieve that as all 4 teams are entering to this period with chance to get title.
Fenerbahce gets an important win with dominating 1st half performance against Sivasspor.
Fenerbahce keeps themselves at the title race with a win against Sivasspor during Super League 29th week with 2:1 as it has managed mainly to get scoreline rather than good game to which you cant criticise too much for their situation at the league.
It was expected that among last games of this season, only game which could provide some difficulty to Fenerbahce would been Sivasspor but with them providing much needed pressure during game and also focus to win game has prevented to Sivasspor to show effective game. It could be stated that their didnt provide strong performance but surely Fenerbahce tactics has also prevented them. Meanwhile, Istanbul side has shown an attacking game in its 1st half and carries on showing very good performance at away games and keeping themselves at the title race. As been mentioned at the entry yesterday only aim for Fenerbahce is to stay focussed for upcoming games and believe for league title. Fenerbahce would now meet against Turkish Cup semi-final 2nd leg game with 2:2 advantage due of away goals and would aim for final with an advantage of scoreline which does make things a bit easier for final, while title at the Super League is out of their hands.
With title race also being in intense manner, its needs to be stated that side which would get into final of Turkish Cup would also have impact towards league as it would provide extra motivation for next week games.
Trabzonspor would aim for win despite of lacking key players at attack.
While top 4 teams are fighting for title between each other, Trabzonspor which is located at 5th place would also aim to get high level performance for last 6 games as it aims to get Europa League spot as it would meet with this time against Osmanlispor.
Trabzonspor however would come out with number of the key absences such as Yusuf Yazici and Burak Yilmaz who are in recent weeks are showing main attacking side of the game and their absence would be felt during the game. Trabzonspor as stated does come out as favourite but absences at attack can lead some issues and make them have more difficult game which would be expected from stronger squad.
