Galatasaray continues its dominance at home ground.
Galatasaray has managed to get an important win against Trabzonspor with 2:1 scoreline as it has provided an attacking game with controlling ball and also opponent which led it to pass another barrier for its league title race.
Galatasaray has regained its leadership from Basaksehirspor after 3 hours when their opponents has won against Akhisarspor, providing confident game from the start with finding an early goal at 7th minute with Sofiane Feghouli as Trabzonspor has provided pretty poor game at the defensive side and hence could defend that position at great manner. Galatasaray has shown an attacking game and provided strong pressure towards their opponents as it has shown another great game with help of their fans during this season as their do in their own stadium. Taking account that Trabzonspor has failed to show the game which it has shown during last 2 games and hence it made task easier for Galatasaray even through as the team has provided great game themselves. With this performance it has also send messages to Besiktas and Basaksehirspor that its not easy to beat them at their own ground.
On the other hand, Trabzonspor didnt manage to provide high level performance which has been expected from them and didnt fit into strategy which was shown during training sessions and also tactics stated by Riza Calimbay prior to game. It could be that strong pressure which was provided to Trabzonspor has been surprise for them and it didnt have any plan to find solutions to this pressure. Attacking game has been so poor thats it main player Burak Yilmaz didnt manage to get much chances and ended game with 7 offsides. The change of players during 55th minute when team has started well in 2nd half has also been mistake for Trabzonspor has lost control of the game and led to concede goal from Gomis. Only good thing for Trabzonspor has been great goal who has used chance for Muslera going to ahead in last minute from free-kick by Kucka.
Galatasaray has managed to win important barrier and carries on its title race as it regained leadership from Basaksehirspor after 3 hours. Trabzonspor did lose chance to make their 5th place and Europa League spot more stronger and even aiming to get closer to Fenerbahce, but losing this opportunity its still will fight for 5th place and possibly 4th.
Basaksehirspor has shown great comeback against Akhisarspor.
Basaksehirspor has managed to get a win against Akhisarspor with 2:1 scoreline during Super League 27th week game with showing comeback after losing 1st half with 1:0 scoreline.
As we have entered to the weeks at title race where any loss of points could lead for not getting league title or losing hope to get it there, Basaksehirspor has shown great comeback with an organisation football. In fact, Basaksehirspor has been side which has controlled game even during 1st half but compare to 2nd half it has failed to provide strong attacking game. Stating that, winning goal has been come from Edin Visca does have some controversy as there is big argument that ball has come from outside during cross and repeat of position does make this chance pretty high. Still, during whole game Basaksehirspor has managed to get a crucial win with providing organised game against what would be tough opponent as Akhisarspor in fact did provide this image during today's game. This win could be one of points which could provide them title this season. Still, team is not showing same performance as it does with top teams against like Akhisarspor.
Akhisarspor meanwhile even through didnt dominate game it did provide an organised game and during 1st half has provided forward seeking football which led them to find goal. In fact,
Akhisarspor has been stayed focussed but difference of level didnt let them get a win.
Basaksehirspor this comeback performance would provide an important motivation for last 7 weeks and hence would them carry on their aim to get title this season as it aims to carry on this performance.
Besiktas got win despite of not showing great game.
Even through Besiktas didnt provide a very good performance against Alanyaspor and being pretty ineffective it has found an important win with help of Anderson Talisca great goal.
It needs to be stated in fact that Talisca himself didnt provide great game himself and there were number of moments especially in 2nd half where Alanyaspor has shown great attacking game.
Besiktas still doesnt show great performance in last 2 weeks and even through it has went into international team break for such performance this is not great excuse which this blog never expects. Another issue from Besiktas, is due of yellow cards ban it has lost almost entire midfielding which does big difficulty for them against Goztepe which of course provides effective game at its home ground and does have great season for them. Surely, Besiktas head coach Senol Gunes would be focussing into improving game as he will not happy with performance.
Besiktas did get an important win for its league title race but it hasnt shown great game and this area which it would improve prior to next week game against Goztepe.
