Besiktas has played one of the main crucial Europa League games while playing against Portuguese club Sporting. Taking account that Besiktas aim was to have successful European competition it was important from their perspective to get point/s at the home against strong teams.
The game could be describe as game with two halves, where Sporting had control and dominance during first half and Besiktas played more controlled during second half giving harder times to its Portuguese opponents. This characterisation of the game also reflected on scoreline, as after first half was 1:0 and at the end of the game 1:1. Assuming that after 2nd week game Besiktas has 4 points and Sporting has 1 point (with Lokomotiv Moscow having 100% record so far), put Besiktas at strong position currently at the second place. Assuming that Besiktas can easily at least draw against Lokomotiv at home, it is quite possible to end group stage at least 8 points which could be enough to get 2nd place.
However, Senol Gunes needs to solve the performance of team which was presented by his players at first half. It is must for the club to be able to play quality football during for 90 minutes, because Lokomotiv or Sporting at home might score 2-3 goals at first half and second half of game might not have enough time for comeback.

Fenerbahce game against Celtic, had pretty similar scenario to Besiktas-Sporting game in case of two different halves. However, there are two important differences between two games first is that Fenerbahce managed to return from 2:0 deficit in its game and secondly its playing away against team which does not lose at home.
One of the main aspects which was observed during game is that Fenerbahce, especially second half, had played one of the best football since Pereira has become head coach of the team. In this game we could finally see organised but in same very dynamic team, the characteristics which always expected due of squad but was never given to its viewers until this game.
Another important aspect of game is Fernandao performance. Hamza Hamzaoglu should need to get into grips
Undoubtetly, the draw between Galatasaray and Astana game at Champions League has raised big shock among sports journalists, fans and club administrators. Even through Galatasaray is not playing its best football this season, it was still expected to be easy win against much weaker opponents.
As the reaction, Galatasaray administration had requested report by club coach Hamza Hamzaoglu, to be presented tomorrow, to explain poor performance by the club, action which was catalyst following Astana game.
Galatasaray has won last two games in Super League (Trabzonspor and Gaziantepspor) which could have delayed such a report but even in those games, club was behind "champion" performance.
Hamzaoglu has made club in previous season league champions, in addition to winning Turkish Cup and Super Cup and was praised as coach of the season, however Hamzaoglu is not so liked anymore compare to only previous months.
One of the reasons of this is not Hamzaoglu fault, as he couldnt make his team strong due of limitations given by UEFA Fair Play control, and only transfer team could make is signing of Podolski while in same time it lost some players last year.
However, this team should have won Astana in whatever circumstances and therefore Hamzaoglu has done some mistakes tactically. Hamzaoglu needs to find solutions to those problems or he might lose his post before 2016, as Turkish administrators are impatient when there are poor results.
