Turkish players are high motivation is advantage to clinch crucial 3rd place position
All of the focus in the Turkish media as expected lays into the crucial game between Turkey and Czech Republic during EURO2016 qualifier on 10th October.
Today, number of national team players have made statements stating as expected that they will do their best against Czechs and Iceland and will get crucial third placed spot, to remind only 4 points is needed to get that position.
Interestingly, none of the players interviewed got Robin van Persie statement that Turkey will lose point during this period in a serious manner. In fact, their see it as normal statement made by opponent and Arda Turan even laughed at it saying if Holland wanted so much their didnt need to lose 4 points against them.
Prior to two very important games, national team players seem to be confident and in good mood. If this attitude will be present on 10th and 13th October than Turkey clinching 3rd place will be much easier.
Trabzonspor needs to play faster football
Following 7 weeks of Super League, Trabzonspor are also among teams which need to solve some issues during national team break. In fact, Trabzonspor has started season well, including winning against Besiktas on 2nd week, but after playing Galatasaray on 5th week and losing that game, club didnt manage to get points at following two games (Osmanlispor and Konyaspor).
Trabzonspor in recent years, well after controversial 2010-2011 season, has not been competed at top spot. There are several problems of this and one of them is attitude of the players. The team has always been played slow football, and even if Turkish league is not fast-paced league, you need to be fast in some games and especially against big 3 teams. One of the main things which should be done is to end looking at scapegoats and try to improve its own football.
Sivasspor needs to find solution to win games
Sivasspor is among interesting team so far of this season following 7 week period. It has obtained in total of 6 draws in seven games and losing one, against Eskisehirspor on 2nd week.
Sivasspor head coach argues that team is neither in bad or good condition, because at least it doesnt lose. Its hard to understand why its case because team scores and concedes, maybe it doesnt have this factor which makes team to win games. If that is case, Sergen Yalcin should find this or after draws would follow losses and then elimination in end of the season.
