Turkish National Team had shown an outstanding performance and has got lots of praise and support across Europe as it shown lots of passion and fighting spirit at the tournament especially following group stages.
It would need to be admitted that tournament for Turkey didnt start very well as it didnt show convincing game against Georgia and has failed entirely Portugal with issues at defence has been clear. However, both tactically and motivation wise it shown much more agressive and organised game against Czechs and Austria and has shown pretty strong fighting spirit against Holland with losing from competitions. It needs to be remembered meanwhile that this is being 2nd youngest team after Czechs at the team and does have squad for next 10 years with team would be improved as most players of this team would become more experienced especially for Euro 2032. This team has left lots of heros and rolemodels both to Turkish young fans and also around world and has been seen side which did lose to Holland as team could get as far as to final with performance it shown.
Turkish National Team without doubt did have an outstanding performance and if it would be managed rightly would become much more stronger in upcoming years.
Vincenzo Montella had provided tactical and moral organisation to team.
Vincenzo Montella has shown strong tactical game at Euro 2024 even through he did have some games where he did make few mistakes especially at game against Portugal.
Foremost, it needs to be mentioned that comments about Vincenzo Montella seems to be having big difference at outside Turkey and among players compare to Turkish media. It needs to be mentioned that this comments from Turkish media could be understood well as it seeks for perfection but it would need to be realistic at most of the times and provide right criticism. Among tactical rise of performance at Turkey he has managed to provide discipline and tactical work at the team which did bring some good results and has led team to get close to semi-final. Stars at Turkish national team who are playing at Turkish Super League should be allowed to go to top European leagues to develop to much better teams as this would have positive impact to team.
