TFF has announced fixture for upcoming season.
TFF has announced Super League draw for 2024-25 season as it would be played with 19 clubs which means that this season would once again include bye system where 1 club would be missing game in 1 week.
Upcoming season is expected to be pretty exciting as many clubs would be fighting for title especially top 4 clubs as Galatasaray would be playing for next season to win 3rd title back-to-back while Fenerbahce has set high aims with Jose Mourinho while Besiktas and Trabzonspor as they had pretty poor season. Therefore, with season taking place for 38 weeks it would be highly excited season with players from Turkish National Team squad would be aiming to show top level performance after successful season at Euro 2024.
Hence, there would be many players and teams which would aim to show good performance and this without doubt would have positive impact into season.
TFF CEO candidate Servet Yardimci has lift his candidacy
TFF CEO candidate Servet Yardimci in surprising manner has announced that he would not be running as TFF CEO candidate and has lifted his candidacy.
With Servet Yardimci expected to be main opponent to incumbent Mehmet Buyukeksi, his decision not to run as CEO candidate in 1 week before election would be seen as big surprise and without doubt did provide lots of pressure towards Buyukeksi. Servet Yardimci did mention in his statement where he stated that he lifted his candidacy that he did recieve lots of pressure from many areas which has led him to make such decision, even through it is being surprising for him to be easily leave such such post with taking such important position without doubt.
Therefore, this decision would provide advantage to Mehmet Buyukeksi as this would led him to be main favourite for this position apart of recieving lots of criticism from different parts.
Ibrahim Haciosmanoglu is becoming main opponent to Servet Yardimci.
Ex-Trabzonspor CEO Ibrahim Haciosmanoglu following statement from Servet Yardimci hence becomes main opponent for Mehmet Buyukeksi as he would be aiming to provide different candidacy for sure.
Haciosmanoglu has been known to be pretty scandalous candidate during Trabzonspor reign at the club with having huge fights with Fenerbahce administation with rising tension between teams. Without doubt, with TFF having tough season with lots of scandalous and tension, he would need to take different stance if he would be elected and in statement today he stated that he would be taking different more peaceful and friendly stance at his position. In statement, he also mentioned that he would not lift his candidacy as other candidates.
Therefore, it does look like Haciosmanoglu is being main candidate for this position but he needs to do lots of work to get votes from Mehmet Buyukeksi.
