Besiktas has got an important win but continues having an issue to play for 90 minutes.
Besiktas has managed to get an important win against Kasimpasa at home ground with 2:1 scoreline and has kept themselves at leadership race, but once again has shown 2 different halves in sense of performance which tend to be characteristics of this season for team.
With point difference rising up from Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, which are playing against each other, Besiktas needed to get win to keep themselves at leadership race and it did start with this in mind. It needs to be mentioned that among scoring 2 goals, Besiktas has dominated 1st half and could even scored much more goals if it managed to have better last touches. However, Besiktas has once again didnt manage to provide top performance which been expected from them for 90 minutes and has allowed Kasimpasa to get into game during 2nd half and to some extend game a control to the game Kasimpasa after it has conceding after 69th minute. It needs to be mentioned that this win hence has been very important and would do good for its confidence, but it does need to solve this issue of two halves if it wants to stay at title race until end.
Kasimpasa meanwhile did have unstable start of the game and has made many mistakes at defence during 2nd half but did provide much more aggressive game during 2nd half especially after goal which it had found. Hence, Kasimpasa did show good performance in 2nd half but it would be dissapointed not to start in such manner.
Besiktas as been noted did get an important win but it does have issue of 2nd halves and hence it does look like team would need to improve its stamina for games.
Fenerbahce supporters would provide extra push to its players at derby game.
Without doubt the factor that derby of two continents would provide especially excitement to viewers as winner would become new leader in penultimate week until mid-way of the season as Fenerbahce would have a home advantage.
Fenerbahce would come out to the game against Galatasaray with 3-game winning run and also providing much more stronger performance compare to game against Trabzonspor and hence would be coming with strong belief. Even through it is difficult to call strong favourite in such crucial game, there is always been an advantage in such game at home ground as Fenerbahce supporters tend to provide strong support and push to its players. Stating that, and even through we tend to praise Fenerbahce rightfully during this season it needs to be mentioned Fenerbahce didnt yet win game at the derby games and hence it would need to work on this but in same time it would be first derby game at home. Fenerbahce it needs to be mentioned does provide strong attacking game and area which it needs to focus on would be defence.
It is close to call game, but Fenerbahce would be having an extra push from supporters which for many years tend to play key role at derby games for sure.
Galatasaray would need to provide strong and organised game if it wants to win derby
Galatasaray would be coming out to the game with 6 wins back-to-back and also as leaders to the Fenerbahce and even through its 1 point difference, it is enough to provide strong confidence and belief to the team.
Even through Galatasaray does get back-to-back wins, it needs to be mentioned that following World Cup 2022 or in other words during 3-game period it has failed to provide dominant game for 90 minutes, with losing tempo and control of the game during 2nd half. If it managed to get wins with luck and quality of the opponents did help them to get win, same would not work against Fenerbahce and hence it would need to provide full performance of 90 minutes and hence in economical performance. One of the questions related to the Galatasaray regarding of the game if Mauro Icardi will be ready to play against Fenerbahce as there is doubt if he would be ready for game. Hence, it would be more likely that he would be playing for 2nd half as team would be starting with Bafetembi Gomis but it would be other way round as Gomis also tends to be more effective when he comes out to the substitute. Hence, those two factors would play an important role at game against Fenerbahce and also how close it would be playing role regarding how close they would be for win on field.
Galatasaray would come out hence with high confidence and motivation with 6 game run but it would need to provide much more effective and organised game if it wants to win this derby game.
