What happened in Turkish football today? 03/06/2021

Turkish National Team got win at last friendly game before Euro2020.

Turkish National Team has won its last friendly game against Moldova with 2:0 scoreline with coming out more or less ideal starting 11 but did provide pretty slow tempo game which surely would not be enough against Italy and other game at Euro2020.

In fact, Turkey didnt provide much better performance compare  to previous 2 games in sense of tempo but with them coming out with much stronger squad with having much better games did have direct impact into with Turkey being more effective especially during 2nd half as it provided much more stronger game with finding two goals thanks to Burak Yilmaz and Cengiz Under who would be also coming out to Euro2020 with high hopes of scoring goals at the front with this squad being without doubt ideal team but it would need to provide much more attacking game with fast tempo if it wants to get out from group as this would not be enough to get results against Italy, Switzealand and Wales but still its good development for them to end its last friendly game.

It needs to be noted that Moldova on other hand did provide some good performance as the game been played during 1st half with creating few opportunities but as Turkey did raise tempo of the game didnt provide much reaction.

Turkey did get win during last friendly game but as been noted it does need to raise tempo if it wants to get good outcome at Euro 2020.

Clubs Union are not happy with foreign players limit.

TFF decision with reducing foreign players limit is continuing to be getting negative effects from other clubs  as it announced that it would reduce foreign players limit to 14 players in squad with 7 being on field.

This decision according to TFF would be reduced step-by-step in upcoming season as it would reduced to 10+2 in 2 years time which goes against expectations from all Super League clubs. In fact, Clubs Union did make statement yesterday stating that despite of providing its expectation to federation it didnt fulfill them and went in fact quite opposite with stating that it has lost all trust towards football federation with having meeting on 8th June to announce this statement which could provide some argumentative with TFF and clubs following such meeting as it is very interesting how clubs would be reacting and make decisions after this meeting.

Therefore it does look like clubs would have some serious arguments with both sides and it would be interesting to see how it would affect with players limit.

Hatayspor signs Bertug Ozgur Yildirim for 3-years

Hatayspor has transferred young player Bertug Ozgur Yildirim for 3-years who did come out from Sariyer but even more important is being young player which been its 2nd investment during this summer transfer window.

It does look like Hatayspor is likely to be focussing into younger players with providing some good opportunity which signing for pretty long period as this being 3-year contract which does it would be expecting for player to provide some assistance for side high aims possibly focussing into top 5 spots. Hatayspor currently being focussed with young players and time would show if it would continue transfers in such manner until end of summer transfer window or would also focussing into getting experienced players both among foreign and Turkish players.

Hatayspor did have effect start of summer transfer window focussing into youth players showing it would be providing high investment towards them.
