Italy has controlled game as it wanted against Turkey.
Italian National Team has got confident win against Turkey without getting too much pressure from them with controlling game and tempo from start to an end with Turkey did only provided one attacking position durin game which being closed.
This blog did mention that Turkey could be losing to Italy as both sides but it would be big question how Turkey would be responding with providing some resistance but it didnt do this at all with providing too much respect towards opponents which led for fear from Turkish National Team. Italy on their part being aware from their own perspective that Turkey could be dangerous side with providing organised confident game but with Turkey did continue showing passive defensive game did lead for Italy to provide much more attacking game with avaiability to break with Merih Demiral own goal which led for Italy to provide much more attacking game. Only thing which Turkey can do with such dissapointing result without providing any difficult time to Italy is to learn mistakes from this performance and show much stronger game against Wales.
Italy as been noted did provide game which it wanted to play with showing tempo which it wanted to from start to an end showing why its one of the favourites as it became clear that it does provide strong confident attacking game as it be able to show pressure in upcoming games against Switzealand and Wales.
Only positive note which has been for Turkey is that when it finished 3rd in World Cup 2002 and semi-finalists at Euro 2008 it did start those tournaments with losses so there is still hope it would turn around its performance, but it needs to show much more better game.
Switzealand has bit of advantage over Wales in other Turks group game.
Euro 2020 Group A 1st week 2nd game, which is being group of Turkey, would be playerd between Wales and Switzealand as this two sides among Turkey would be expected to be giving fight for 2nd spot.
To some extend, outcome of this game would be having direct impact into aims for Turkey with without doubt expecting for this game to be ending with draw as it would have direct advantage expect both sides when it would be meeting them in next 2 games. When coming to game itself, it needs to be noted that Switzealand would be coming as favourite side in this game as Wales does show some decline with only real star being Gareth Bale as he does show even possibly more importantly some decline with his performance right now even through there is possibility for him to be seeing as opportunity to show top level game as this could be his last tournament. Switzealand does have slighly better squad and better results in recent period which would mean it would be coming out with strong self-confidence.
Turkey would be hoping for this game to be ending with draw but Switzealand does have sligh advantage in this fixture.
Galatasaray signs Aytac Kara and Alpaslan Ozturk
Galatasaray did sign Aytac Kara and Alpaslan Ozturk according to reports even through official statement hasnt been made probably due of transfer window not being started yet.
Without doubt, during previous season modest performance of Kasimpasa and Goztepe, Alpaslan Ozturk and Aytac Kara did provide very strong performance being best players of their side respectively. In fact, there was strong expectation for both players to be called in Turkish National Team side for Euro 2020 but due of high level of options, both players were left in Turkey which it does look their spend with negotiations with Galatasaray as there is been strong demand from big clubs as soon as season was over. Both players do have potentiality to provide strong performance but moving from medicore side to top club could be challenging as been seen beforehand.
Still, with experience of both Kara and Ozturk experience, there would be expectation for them to continue good performance in top club.
