What happened in Turkish football today? 06/04/2020

Trabzonspor aims to resume training on 2nd May.

Trabzonspor has announced that it would start training session on 2nd May which does show that clubs slowly starting focussing into resume date for new season for June and hoping that condition of
Covid 19 would be reduced until then.

Of course, as been noted for several times in our blog this is being optimistic view and when looking at the thing in more realistic view it needs to be noted that its unlukely for situation to be secure for 1 month period but still to keep some reference point for this situation it has been decided like that so players would have some guidelines and leave them to be focussed. Stating it needs to be noted that players are very likely to stay focussed and continue its programme at home and be mentally ready when training session would be resuming.

So far, this seems to be plan how things would be happening right now with clubs focussing into resume of this season on start of June.

Jerome Boateng would leave Turkey due of Covid19

With Besiktas stating that some players could leave Turkey with request to return when their called back, Jerome Boateng became 1st one to plan to leave

It became clear that 1st footballer from Besiktas has requested to travel to home country after club has allowed foreign players will be Jerome Boateng as he has been one of the earliest to be wishing to travel home as he believed that he would be filling much more comfortable in his home country and would be travelling home with private jet in short period of time. It is being curious for now if some other players would follow suit after such decision from Boateng.

Of course, we need to undestand this demand from foreign players as their have families in their home country and would need to provide some empathy as their families are abroad.

Players will not be at top level when season resumes.

Some of the players as it is noted has announced that it would be hard to show high level performance on June even through their did confess that miss playing football.

It is true that with footballers are highly focussed into playing football and psychologically in difficult process their also aware that due of this their would lose momentum which their need to have as physically their would be in start of season level rather then in level which is needed to provide for title race level. Therefore, if league would be resumed, whenever we might not see very high level performance from players and that needed momentum for top level game could be lose. But with UEFA pushing bit for season to be completed players still would need to show good level performance when league resumes.

This is being problematic issue but for now it looks like players need to take this account.
