What happened in Turkish football today? 18/04/2020

Besiktas plans to have training session with 4-5 players on 20th April.

It is reported that Besiktas are planning to restart training session on 20th April with groups of 4-5 players as their is expectation that league would be resumed on start of the June.

Even through our page for several times did state that this early stated date by TFF is being too optimistic, it is clear that all clubs would be needing to prepare for next season in a manner of season to be restarting in early June. It is reported that Besiktas would be going through step-by-step with starting with 4-5 players groups with going through situation both in the club and around nation eventually would be having with whole club training together. Needless, to state Besiktas would also need to take account of condition of its facilities when it would be resuming training sessions.

Besiktas if it would have training session on 20th April would first one to provide such action and would be able to evaluate its whole team condition.

Sorloth would be arriving to Trabzon on 20th April.

Stating in same subject area with clubs providing preparations for planned restart of the season on start of June, it is reported that Trabzonspor has send direct request to its player Alexandr Sorloth to return to Trabzon from Norway on 20th April.

This development without doubt does show that Trabzonspor are planning to start its training session for restart of the season on early June and hence it would be taken into consideration 14-day quarantine period which Sorloth would be going through due of Covid 19 outbreak when arriving from outside country. When Sorloth would be returning on 20th April he would be also hence become 1st reported player who has left from country to country as club would be aiming to get back into normality.

It would be hoping that Sorloth would not arrive with any negative circumstances even through its pretty unlucky.

Covid 19 could cancel football until September.

It needs to be noted and as been mentioned on previous blogs, even through UEFA and TFF also are focussed into resuming season, it does look to be pretty hard decision and not having football season until September its possibility.

Even through it does look bit that Covid-19 is either going into decline or been taken into control at some countries, it is still providing some worrying views since its been high on daily basis still and one simple mistakes from governments and individuals could start another rise of cases for sure, and that could be done due of restarting footballing season since of possible gathering and travelling due of games. Hence, there is nothing wrong to plan restart of the season but it needs to be aware that it could cancel whole season.

Covid19 is being unpredictable and controls whole situation, therefore everyone needs to be ready for this issue to take for very long time.
