What happened in Turkish football today? 09/04/2020

Yunus Malli been taken into quarantine due of contact with infected relative from Covid19.

Union Berlin player Yunus Malli has been taken into quarentine due of news that he had contact of one of his relatives who had positive outcome for Covid 19 with there is no information if he went through test and what result he got.

From reports which do exist, it is reported that this action is been taken purely for precaution reason due of contact and Malli is not reported to have any symptoms and if things hopefully would be in good condition he would be able to join training session next week, as clubs slowly start going to trainings in Germany. Therefore, from reports which it is known for time-being is that Yunus Malli is only been isolated due of contact with relative who has Covid19.

Lets hope that Malli would not get negative result from Covid-19 test and would be able to join his team for training.

Fatih Terim salary expected to stay same

With discussions about revising salaries at the clubs due of monetary issues which Covid 19 has brought to football world, its been reported that Galatasaray will not being going for change of its head coach Fatih Terim salary.

With Terim being at the quarantine for now even through being tested negative in his recent Covid 19 test, has secured his salary which even through migh not be approved by some could be understandable due of his status at the club with being seen as legend and as possibly due of going through Covid 19 period. It needs to be noted however that this is being only rumour right now and with most parts of whole club does consider to go to some reduction, with mainly club being with negotiations, it could become clear that Terim might be going for reduction but current state does seem to be case that he would be keeing his salary.

It should be understandable why it would be case as it been noted that he is being legendary status in the club for sure.

Nabil Dirar is first player to be willing for salary reduction at Fenerbahce

With all clubs both in Turkey and in whole world, looking ways how to reduce salaries with its players and staff, it being reported that Fenerbahce player Nabil Dirar became first one to look forward to reduce his salary.

Therefore, Dirar has become 1st player in the club to start actively discussing about reduction of his salary with him and club being on stage to make agreement about how much should be reduced his current 2 million euro contract. Such a move certainly would provide push for other players in the club to discuss about reducing salaries as so far it needs to be noted club being quite in this front. If those talks are taking place,it is expected for deal to be made  in short period of time for sure.

Therefore, amount of reduction would become clear in near future very likely and this could start domino effect in this issue in the club.
