Season could be completed in Antalya.
It became clear that plan to restart season on June is being discussed how it would be organised, with talks about being played in one city due of Covid19 pandemic is being more and more seen to be solution to such issue.
In fact, due of facilities it became clear that Antalya is being city which has been mostly favourable for season to be resumed and TFF administration does look for this option in pretty warm manner as it would be able to keep control of the players in one location and since it would not be played with supporters, an issue of away-home advantage will not be existent anymore. This system hence would reduce risks from travelling in different cities and also keep in control every sinle club workers of 18 clubs if there would be some unwanted development with Covid 19 outbreak. Therefore, it is clear that if season would be restarted, TFF is focussing into making its condition as safest and to reduce virus to spread actively.
This does seem to be doable plan which is likely to be discussed in the meeting of TFF and Clubs Union among Sports and Youth Ministry on start of May.
Fenerbahce would resume training session on 21st April with groups of players.
Following Besiktas plans to restart training session with part of the players, it became clear that
Fenerbahce would also restart its training session on 21st April with starting groups of 4-5 players.
With current plans to restart season is being giving on start of the June, most clubs are slowing making plans to restart season and training session focussing into ways how to start training session at safest way. It is reported that Fenerbahce would be having training session with groups of 4-5 payers in beginning from 21st April with some days having day. This is more or less similar plan which Besiktas would be doing from 20th April and similar measures would be taken into account by other clubs which either started or would be starting sessions in upcoming days. This way clubs like Fenerbahce would be able to reduce lack of training session and to some extend players ready for season restart if it would be happening on June.
Time would show how much into effect this training session would be and also if it would have meaning in sense that its still unclear if season would be resumed.
Omer Bayram is not being optimistic regarding ending this season.
Another pessimistic regarding rest of the season but same time realistic view has been given from Galatasaray player Omer Bayram who stated its hard for any games to be played in 2020.
As been several times in this blog, since 1st case of coronavirus in Turkey, that this is virus which provides all of the aspects and plans and everyone needs to make decisions which needs to be done in this period and not what it wants. Therefore, it is unsurprising for so many players involved in this game are not being very optimistic regarding of completion of this season, including Omer Bayram. In his statement he said that it looks to be difficult as any small risk of being infected and virus to spread does need to be taken into effect. Therefore, this issue of continuing league regardless how much economically its crucial to ended, needs to be done in way which would be safe for whole community.
TFF will meet on May to discuss latest plan regarding fate of this season but it needs to made in way which would provide health security to players, coaches, referees, stadium workers, journalists but most importantly to whole nation.
