What happened in Turkish football today? 10/04/2020

Goztepe plans to restart training of whole team on 27th April.

Goztepe head coach Ilhan Palut has announced that his team plans to be starting training session with 4-men groups on 20th April, with whole team aiming to start training session from 27th March due of league restarting on start of June according to current plan.

If Goztepe plan would be put into reality then it would be very likely to be 1st club to start training session since leagues has been postponed but its crucial to note that club would need to go through into condition in the country to make it safe for this training session to be taking place in secure manner for their health which is hard to state for time being for sure as condition is still being very serious for sure in whole country including Izmir. This willingness should be seen as goodwill, but it would be important for team to go through that date over and over so it wont be putting players into danger.

Therefore, its crucial to make decision in reference of situation of virus behaviour rather then willingness for TFF to play on June.

We are seeing rise of daily cases in Turkey each day.

With daily cases in Turkey is being passed over 4,000 and seems to be going into upheavel, it does look like it would be safe to do any social activities in duration of one month as situation continues to be worrying.

With some experts talking about virus to be less effective with warmer weather, there isnt much proof that it would reduce its behaviour and assuming it wont it does look like good weather which did come to Turkey could be providing some worrying image for raise since people who not aware of danger still go out for win. With this condition, it doesnt look like thing would be going back into normality which includes in footballing world with some clubs thinking to start training session due of start of season in June, which is being provisional date. Statistically even through condition in Turkey might not be seen as too critical, its still pretty uncertain situation with daily  cases rising each day with only thing which could be treated as positive that its not being critical.

April month does look to be critical for Turkey right now and time would show how it would behave in upcoming period of time.
