Galatasaray administrator Yusuf Gunay has recovered from Covid19
Galatasaray administrator Yusuf Gunay has announced that he has been fully recovered from Covid 19 following 14-day quarantine which hence has been another present news as we start hearing back-to-back recoveries in football community.
As would been remembered, Gunay positive result has been reported following Galatasaray administrator Abdurrahim Albayrak positive result with all the bodies has shown calm and without complications from this virus. Gunay did make statement today that he feels in good condition and didnt have much issues during this process with thanking great work from this days heroes doctors who are fighting each day against this virus on daily basis. We would be hoping for sure to hear more pleasant news during this period from Covid 19 recoveries.
This recovery to some extend does show that at least Turkish football community people who did get infected didnt have issues with recovery process.
Clubs Union has provided some economical solutions during Covid 19 period.
Clubs Union has made very important statement regarding of suggestion of how could clubs be supported during this economical issues which been arised from Covid 19 as teams dont recieve payments from TFF and broadcaster.
Foremost, its clear that Clubs Union were unhappy for Digiturk/Bein who are broadcasters of leagues, didnt provide any payments towards them despite of 3 weeks to be played on that month and has called for revision of such decision stating that those payments are lion share for clubs. In addition, it has suggested to stop or reduce any payments to players and technical staff until season could be reduced due of situation we are in. This are being for sure pretty direct demands but very reasonable as their is no activities right now and hence clubs are losing money and those salary revision would be playing crucial role to get through this difficult period.
This are being very effective suggestion but it needs to be put into effect which as would be expected could be pretty tough to achieve when looking on 1st stance.
Besiktas would be terminating contract with players who wouldnt like to reduce salaries.
They are reports strong reports that we would discuss with players about reduction of salaries, and might be ending contracts with its players who would not want to get this reduction.
As it is known, Besiktas does have some crucial economical issues even before Covid 19 situation, and hence it cant be affording to provide same payments right now or would be getting into huge financial issues. So,quite naturally, it would be discussing with its current squad focussing into reduction of salaries and if that would not be achieved then it would end terminate contract and would provide suggestion for them to complain to FIFA with reports that its defence is also being ready.
This actions from Besiktas could be seen very harsh but due of economical conditions it needs to be done by them for sure.
