VAR had went through first testing in Turkey during Basaksehirspor youth game.
Turkish Football Federation and Central Referee Committee has its first testing session of the Video-Assistance Refereeing system in Turkey during Basaksehirspor under-21 game with TFF CEO Yildirim Demiroren, Club's Union CEO Goksel Gumusdag, Basaksehirspor head coach Abdullah Avci and referee Firat Aydinus being present at the testing.
Following testing all of the bodies has stated that the testing went very well but it needs to be done even more and the TFF plans to announce following system to the Super League and 1st league around January, when it expects that IFAB would make its approval decision. During talks all of the bodies has stated that referees does make mistakes and not on purpose and following system would allow to game to be played in more pleasant manner and would reduce arguments about referee decisions. The testing is reported to go well but all of the bodies surely would need much more trainings, especially referees to get used to the system.
The time would show if this system would be successful or not. Turkey is country where after football games most of the post-match analysis is focussed into refereeing decisions and it would be curious to see if pundits would find wrong decisions even with VAR.
Antalyaspor used loan clause to sign contract with Salih Dursun for 3 years.
Antalyaspor has transferred Galatasaray player Salih Dursun for 3 years using an option to get all rights of him which was set at the loan contract last year and hence has completed this transfer for low value of 750,000 TL.
It was known that Galatasaray has been unhappy with Salih Dursun for long time and has send him as loan for past 2 years firstly to Trabzonspor and later to the Antalyaspor. With taking this account Antalyaspor has been able to transfer him for 750,000 TL and even through Salih Dursun might not be in level for top team, his quality is good enough for Antalyaspor and has good chance to carry good season which he has also shown during this season. Galatasaray has made loss with such a deal as it has purchased him for 10 million euro but sadly for a team in sense of economically it didnt have much chance as administrators and coaching staff didnt want to keep him at the squad for next season.
So as been mentioned above he is as player is more suitable for Antalyaspor compare to top teams and might provide a performance which he would feel more comfortably with as being possibly at Galatasaray would lead him to hardly any playing time next season.
Osmanlispor has made huge mark in Europe during last season.
The last team which needs to be mentioned during previous season overview should be also be Osmanlispor and despite of the poor season domestically and showing performance way behind from last season, it has marked a history at the Europa League.

One of the main roles of this successes has been head coach Mustafa Resit Akcay who has focussed into possitive style of football and has been seen a big shock when he made decisions to resign following poor performance at the Super League. Osmanlispor has marked a mark and showed their quality and even through their will not be in Europe next season their have potential to show great game this season with Hamza Hamzaoglu and get Europe spot in upcoming season.
Osmanlispor has been among most talked teams during last season with their memorable performance at the Europa League and showed their potential not only to Turkey but also around Europe.
