Trabzonspor has started transfer negotiations with Theo Botofongo and Kamil Ahmet Corekci.
Trabzonspor has announced that it has started transfer negotiations with Celta Vigo player Theo Botofango and Kamil Ahmet Corekci who is currently free-agent but has been playing at the Eskisehirspor during last season. This has been 1st transfer announcement from Trabzonspor during this summer.
Both players has arrived to Trabzon facilities and has went through medical checkups and club are expecting to make an official announcement of both players joining the team in few days time. It has been told several times that one of the teams which needs to be active during this transfer window but in same time focus towards right transfers should be Trabzonspor if it wants to fight for league title. It is known that Trabzonspor has been going through Theo Botofongo transfer negotiations for several times and taking account with his last season performance at the La Liga it would be able to strength the squad even through it is unclear if it would be enough for next season. Coming to the Kamil Ahmet Corekci he doesnt have much experience with high aims clubs but does have potential to provide top football due of his age.
This are two good transfers but it is doubtful if their are good enough to move team ahead during next season but it needs to focus into more players as the team is in good form but still not enough to fight for league title.
Galatasaray has made an transfer agreement with Francesco Acerbi.
According to the Turkish sports media, Galatasaray has made transfer agreement with Sassuolo player Francesco Acerbi and also has come with agreement with his team during transfer negotiations.
According to reports, Acerbi did want to leave the team during this season as he has one more season due of good offer from Galatasaray and being aware that he might have trouble to recieve such an offer in near future, he has asked for Sassuolo to help him. As Galatasaray has offered 3 year contract to Acarbi, Istanbul side has also offered 4 million euro transfer fee to Sassuolo and from good-will from Italian side it has made an agreement for this offer without demanding high fee. It is believed that all parties are satisfied and now thing which has left to do is for Acarbi to come to Istanbul and sign contract. This transfer would certainly would be good news for Istanbul side as with his performance at defence and his height it would be able to solve its issues at the set pieces.
If Galatasaray would be able to manage to transfer Acarbi, than it could be one of their easiest transfers in sense of negotiations as it does some issues with Swansea City player Bafetembi Gomis and Dinamo Kiev player Youness Belhanda as it still has an issue to make a final decision between clubs.
Antalyaspor are interested to transfer Ilker Casillas.
One of the surprising and eye-catching transfer rumours which has been mentioned today at the sports media has been talks that Porto player Ilker Casilas might be joining Antalyaspor during this summer transfer window.
It is known that Antalyaspor since last season has been aiming to bring to the team highly-known names and there is talks that Antalyaspor CEO Ali Safak Ozturk has been having direct talks with Casillas manager. However, Antalyaspor did decline that this is taking place with Riza Calimbay has stating that it doesnt need a goalkeeper transfer as it does have good enough disposal at its hand. Therefore, this news could be just rumour but it would certainly make number of fans of Turkish football and certainly Antalyaspor fans to feel excited. As it is known, when Samuel Etoo transfer rumour has come out many people were certain that it would never happen but right now he is team and being by far best player.
It is in fact unlikely Ilker Casillas would join but if he does it would be certainly one of the biggest transfer stories in Turkey during this summer.
