TFF CEO Yildirim Demioren has criticised media for Arda Turan incident.
As was expected the most talked topic during today's Turkish Football Federation General Meeting has been an incident between Turkish National Team player Arda Turan and journalist Bilal Mese with both TFF CEO Yildirim Demioren and Clubs Union CEO Goksel Gumusdag has provided their views about this situation.
Both TFF CEO Yildirim Demiroren and Clubs Union CEO Goksel Gumusdag during their statements at the meeting have stated that Arda Turan actions were not correct and should not be praised. Goksel Gumusdag has suggested for Arda Turan to provide an apology both in public and personally to the Bilal Mese if the topic would be closed. TFF CEO Yildirim Demiroren has taken stance further and even through didnt praise such an action did provide some blame towards Turkish sports media stating their is attempt to get in between players and national team. He has told media outlets rather than criticise Arda Turan but actually provide some proactive suggestion to the Arda Turan and provide some empathy. Interestingly, rather than taking more critical stance Demiroren has provided support to Arda Turan and had instead criticised media.
Meanwhile, Yildirim Demioren during his speech has also discussed about role of TFF against FETO which once again shown that football federation is getting political aspects, possibly even too much.
Napoli player Vlad Chiriches wants to join Galatasaray.
According to the Turkish media, Napoli player Vlad Chiriches wants to join Galatasaray in this summer as Istanbul club is showing a big interest towards him and is reported to come to the agreement between sides in short period of time.
One of the reason for Chiriches wanting to join Galatasaray is to recieve more playing time as he didnt been chosen for starting 11 for many games during this season at the Italian side. If he would be able to join Galatasaray, he is very likely to solve defensive issue at the team which it been struggling for most of the time during this season with conceding lots of goals. Being 1.84 metres tall he should be able to also be an important player at the set pieces. As it is known according from rumour few days ago, Mircea Lucescu is reported to provide some transfer assistance to the team and there is possibility that Vlad Chiriches was suggested by him to the Galatasaray.
It does look like one of the 1st transfers during this transfers would be signing of Vlad Chiriches and Bafetembi Gomis as window would be open on 17th June.
Nabil Dirar gave signs of joining Fenerbahce soon.
Meanwhile, in similar manner as with Chiriches and Galatasaray, Monaco player Nebil Dirar is also very close to make transfer deal with Fenerbahce and is expected to be one of the first signings during this summer transfer window among Mathieu Valbuena.
Being a very effective midfielder player he would be also coming from champions of the Ligue 1 and even through it could been argued that he didnt provide much at the Monaco during this season he would be very suitable for Fenerbahce to get into better stage at the team compare to last season. Interestingly, during an interview with French football magazine Nabil Dirar did provide strong hint that he would be joining Fenerbahce soon which provide a view that transfer deal between sides is very close to be concluded unless some last minutes changes would lead for transfer not to take into effect. As usual it is specifically hard to be 100% sure if player would be ready but Dirar is among players who would be willing to provide positive football as he still aims for more successful career likely.
It is known that Dirar is been used as an alternative to the Jeremain Lens if it manages to keep Lens it might not transfer him but with taking account that its difficult for Lens to stay the talks are slowly moving to Dirar transfer.
