Besiktas has transferred Caner Erkin for 3 years.
Besiktas has come to the agremeent for transfer of Inter Milan player Caner Erkin for 3 years, as Turkish star player has been loaned to the team for 1 year as soon as Inter Milan back then head coach Frank de Boer didnt approve Erkin at the regulars.
One of the main aims for Besiktas during this summer transfer window was to transfer Caner Erkin and it has achieved that with pretty low transfer fee of the 750,000 euro for 3 year period. Even through due of injury Caner Erkin didnt recieve much of the playing time at the team, both players and club has found a great synergy with player always stating that to the media. It does look from this agreement also that Besiktas was able to reduce price of the transfer fee due of his injury which it has always use as the key during transfer negotiations. Caner Erkin is right now has recovered from his injury and with summer break just beginning would be able to be at the full condition as new season would start. In addition,it was known that Inter Milan didnt want to keep Turkish player at the side so it was not necessarily hard task to come with deal as long as Besiktas provides reasonable transfer deal which it did.
With Caner Erkin, unless will not experience injury, is likely to provide more high level performance for the team at the next season where team would fight for big successes at Champions League and fight for 3rd title back to back at the Super League.
Galatasaray has shown lack of stamina and strength during this season.
Galatasaray has been among teams which has shown a performance way below which was expected from them during this season as Jan Olde Riekerink has recieved lots of criticism of not being well head coach, which led him for resignation.
It needs to be remembered though that Galatasaray did start season at high note not losing game and winning most of them comfortably. In fact most of the pundits, including this blog has put the team among strongest candidates for league title among Besiktas and possibly Basaksehirspor. However, the team has suddenly started recieving bad results and has been providing games at the low tempo and despite of controlling game with high possession had lack to create chances. This performance has certainly has pushed team down with recieving potential results. As Galatasaray has brought team, in pretty scandalous manner, Karabukspor head coach Igor Tudor it came visible that most of the players had lack of speed and stamina. Igor Tudor did try to make his team to start playing faster and better football but due of fast change it was hard to get response. However, Igor Tudor would work on that during summer break and possibly we would see much improved side for next season.
Among other aspects, is of course high number of problematic foreign players which team likely to sold this summer , including Bruma. Right now comes smart tactics so it can gain money from selling to even get players from this cash in return.
Konyaspor squad still could struggle at the Europa League.
Following Turkish Cup title by Konyaspor, the team has been qualified to the Europa League group stage 2nd season back -to-back and has won Turkish Cup in very fairly manner but it is hard to state that Konyaspor had a great season.
Konyaspor needs to be praised for their great achievements with head coach Aykut Kocaman in past 2 seasons and with this achievement he would be joining Fenerbahce. However, in overall and taking away Turkish Cup its hard to state that Konyaspor had a great season in overall. It didnt show any upper hand at the Europa League and was behind its performance at the Super League. Konyaspor one of the main weaknesses has been to focus too much into defensive football and didnt go much at the front and taking account of quality of the team it has led them to show poor performance at the Europa League. Hence, Konyaspor can show good performance next season with this team domestically for Europa League it is not ready specifically.
Therefore, the new coach which would be joining team does have a lot of job with preparing players and leading effective transfer politics this summer to make team ready strongly for next season both in Europa League and domestically.
