Rizespor is more likely to stay at league despite of 2 point difference with Bursaspor
With many things has become clear as we enter to the last week of the Super League of this season, including league title, there is still important question to found out which team would be relegated from Super League: Bursaspor or Rizespor.
Rizespor it needs to be stated would come out as favourite with their game against Alanyaspor as their opponents are relaxed with having a good season and Rizespor has shown lots of improvement with their recent games meanwhile Bursaspor would play against Trabzonspor. Among the fact, that Trabzonspor would aim to end season with the good result it has also been visible that Bursaspor is keep losing points during last week of the games which has surely affected motivation to the players with Batalla coming out as player-coach due of the factor that Adnan Ornek has resigned as head coach from last games.
Therefore, it could be stated that Rizespor would come out more likely to win game but it needs to be remembered that there is 2 points difference and hence Bursaspor might not even need to win their game to stay.
Fenerbahce does come out as favourite for 3rd place spot.
With Konyaspor winning Turkish Cup, the importance of 3rd place which was discussed about at our blog in recent months has been reduced as it became clear that both 3rd and 4th place teams would play qualifying stages to enter to the Europa League.
However, ending at the 3rd place would mean that the team would open its season one month later compare to the team which would end at place below. Prior to the last game, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray does have same points but if teams end with the same points than Fenerbahce would end season 3rd due of games between each other. Fenerbahce would play its last game against relegated Adanaspor and hence it does give their strong advantage, even through Fenerbahce has shown big decline with their performance hence creating issue at ending at the 3rd place to themselves. Adanaspor meanwhile does show a great performance after their been officially relegated, which does give hope to the Galatasaray which would want for Fenerbahce to lose the game. However, one thing is certain that Fenerbahce does look like it would get 3rd place, even if opponents would give strong opposition.
However, the way Fenerbahce has played at recent weeks does show that it has lost concentration and it does need to regain that focus with last game of the season.
Galatasaray comes out as favourite but its performance would be related to news from Fenerbahce.
Meanwhile, Galatasaray is also expected to win the game against Konyaspor during last week but as entry above stated it might not be enough for them as Fenerbahce does have advantage despite having same points between sides.
Galatasaray is expected to win the game due of pure factor that Konyaspor does not have any aims and is very likely to be tired after Turkish Cup final against Basaksehirspor which has been played for 120 minutes and went until penalties 3 days before this game. This tiredness of game and definitely of celebration would affect their performance and concentration, and with Galatasaray having a good motivation to win the game it does give their higher chance to get this win. In fact, as been seen the teams fighting for the 3rd place will look like to win their games, and to achieve that it needs to win game. In fact, since games would be played at the same time, the developments at the Fenerbahce game would be expected to have direct impact into Galatasaray performance during game.
Galatasaray would win their game against Konyaspor however if some bad news would come from other game it can even at the draw and Galatasaray would start Europa League qualifiers on July.
