Galatasaray signs Bafetembi Gomis for 3 years.

Following long-term transfer negotiations with Swansea City player Bafetembi Gomis has managed to make  an official contract with a player for 3 years with 2.5 million euro transfer fee.

The transfer negotiations between sides has been taken number of the months as the rumours of this to take place has been surrounding at the Turkish sports media since previous season has been over. It needs to be reminded that Bafetembi Gomis has performed a great season last season at the
Olympique Marseille and is expected to carry on showing this performance at the Galatasaray. He is expected to play an important role for next season and solve many issues at the attacking football which Igor Tudor was aware that existed and would hope that Gomis would carry on this performance which he did last season in Ligue 1. Again time would show if Gomis would be able to repeat this performance but there is strong chance he would be able to.

With Galatasaray planning to transfer players back-to-back with Younes Belhanda and Maicon signing in few days time the team would be able to come out pretty strong for Europa League 2nd qualifying round 1st game against Osterlunds on 13th July.

Fenerbahce has tranferred Mathieu Valbuena

Even through Fenerbahce has made transfer deal for long time now, the signing ceremony for 2.5 year contract for Olympique Lyon player Mathieu Valbuena has been taken place today.

Without doubt Valbuena transfer has been among key transfers for team this summer. He has proven at last season that he is capable to play with high tempo football regardless of his old age and as an player willing to perform high level football. In fact, Valbuena has shown a great performance against Besiktas during Europa League quarter-final tie during this season and certainly Fenerbahce would hope that their would perform at same level against them in next season. Besiktas are interested to transfer Neven Subotic

One of the most interesting rumour today at sports media has been news that Besiktas are interested to transfer Borussia Dortmund player Neven Subotic.

Subotic has been a key and important player for Borussia Dortmund playing for long time. Therefore if this is true it will not be easy to make transfer agreement with German side but if it does it will be great news for Besiktas. With Subotic experience he would help Istanbul side to improve a lot. This would be a great transfer for them with his capacity to start attacks. As it was stated before-hand Besiktas doesnt aim to change its squad a lot during this summer transfer window and does look like it would transfer star names, with its priority being Real Madrid Pepe with Subotic being mainly a good alternative for him. Halil Altintop been transferred to Slavia Prague

Augsburg player Halil Altintop, younger brother of Hamit Altintop, has been transferred to Slavia Prague as the Czech club has announced the transfer today. Czech side could be a great place for him to continue his career.

As it is known, Halil Altintop even through is a quality player he never managed to get into same level as his brother and did enjoy a period of performance at the Trabzonspor where he showed reasonably good performance during his stay. He was an important player at the Augsburg but never reached to the high class style performer. It needs to be mentioned that by moving to Slavia Prague he could perform at one of the top teams at the country and possibly get a league title a factor which was missing during his career. Therefore, Halil Altintop could end his career at high note.

Galatasaray has started transfer negotiations with Younes Belhanda.

Galatasaray has announced that it has started transfer negotiations with Younes Belhanda as the team is expected to make its 1st transfer announcement of this summer transfer window.

Even through Galatasaray has been very active during this transfer negotiations with high number of the players it wasnt able to make its squad any stronger as it expects to name high number of the players in duration of the week prior to Europa League 2nd qualifying round 1st leg against Ostersund. Younes Belhanda as it is known transfer has been aimed to fill space of the Wesley Sneijder and would likely either pull Sneijder as substitute or sell him. Olympique Marseille and Roma looking for breaking point of Besiktas regarding Oguzhan Ozyakup.

Olympique Marseille and Roma are showing strong interest towards transferring Besiktas player Oguzhan Ozyakup as both sides has got into battle with each other for providing highest transfer fee for the player which Besiktas doesnt want to sell.

In other words, it does look like both clubs which believe that Ozyakup would help them to become stronger side are currently looking for a offer which Besiktas will not able to refuse from. Marseille is reported to have offered 9.5 million euro to Besiktas for a player while Roma offer is been 9 million euro. However, as been mentioned Besiktas does not have any plans to sell one of its main players at its squad and as it is known Besiktas aims to keep their side as same as possible with selling so far only Rhodolfo to Flamengo. Both Roma and Olympique Marseille meanwhile are not expected to give up on this possible transfer as soon as possible.

It does look for certain that Besiktas to start considering about selling those two players surely after 10 million euro but would those both sides, or others, willing to provide such a high transfer offer for Besiktas player would become clear in upcoming days.

Jeremain Lens has reduced salary request from 4 million to 3 million euro. 

It became clear that Fenerbahce-loaned player Jeremain Lens, from Sunderland, has changed his request for his salary offer from previously request of 4 million euro to 3 million euro which has certainly made things easier for sides to make an agreement.

It has to be stated that such a high salary request from Lens has been seen as surprise as he always stated that plans to stay at the team for next season. But getting aware that this offer could be too high and he doesnt get better offer from outside Fenerbahce he was willing to go for reduction. Such a action made the case for him to stay at the team more likely as this price is more reasonably for a club compare to previous 4 million euro.

Following this talks its now turn for Fenerbahce to make an agreement with Sunderland but factor that between Jeremain Lens and Fenerbahce has been made would make the case for transfer much more easier.

Big Turkish clubs interested with Viitorul player Romario Benzar.

It does look we might hear a lot name of Viitorul player Romario Benzar in upcoming days as Trabzonspor, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are interested to transfer him during this summer transfer window.

Romario Benzar has been played an important role to help Viitorul Constanda and Gheorghe Hagi to win Romanian league title and this could be one of the main reasons why some eyes among big clubs in Turkey has been turned to him. Besiktas are interested to transfer Pepe.

One of the strongest rumours during today's pretty quiet day at the transfer news in the Turkey has been about possibility that Real Madrid player Pepe could be joining Besiktas during this summer window.

Even through there is number of clubs which are interested to transfer Pepe which includes PSG and Inter Milan it is known that Besiktas does have a strong chance to transfer him as Pepe is looking forward also. It is known that Ricardo Quaresma during FIFA Confideration Cup taking place in Russia has provided lots of positive comments about Besiktas which in return has convinced Pepe to join team. However, the good advertisement by close friend doesnt necessary mean that this would lead for Pepe to join team as it is more complicated than that which also includes monetary factor as it might not have enough cash to convince Pepe to join them.

Besiktas are trying their best to convince Pepe to join them during this summer transfer window as Real Madrid will not use him but there are also big clubs which would like to see him so it wont be any easy task for them.

Fenerbahce are interested to transfer Rio Ave player Gil Dias.

Fenerbahce new transfer focus right now has been towards Rio Ave player Gil Dias as it aims to make its attacker area a bit more stronger and does have good chance to make deal with him.

The most logical way for Fenerbahce is to loan him for one season which it aims to do and has started during transfer negotiations with Valencia. There are reports that Rio Ave are also looking for an option to loan him as their it good chance to develop as player at the top league and hence improve as player. It became reported that Montreal Impact are showing strong interest towards Galatasaray player Wesley Sneijder as both club and play himself intend to leave the team and move towards MLS in more likely way.

Wesley Sneijder wants to move to USA due of feeling closer and way of life as his wife Yolanthe Cabau also reported to be feeling warm to that country compare to stay Russia. Youness Belhanda expects to be 1st official transfer for Galatasaray this summer.

It became clear from Turkish leading sports channel NTV Spor that Galatasaray has made transfer deal with Dinamo Kiev player Youness Belhanda for 4 years and is expected to make this transfer offer during this weekend among Sao Paulo player Maicon.

Names surrounding transfers of Galatasaray has been surrounding around Turkish media since season was over and even before that with especially focussing into names such as Acerbi, Youness Belhanda, Maicon and mostly Bafetimbi Gomis. As the official announcement to Galatasaray has been awaiting for long time, it didnt make any transfers yet and in fact has been losing players. However, it does look like that club's 1st transfer during this transfer window would be Youness Belhanda which their reports of both team and player being agreed has been going for long time and only measures has been taken for it be concluded. With Maicon arriving to Istanbul and Youness Belhanda making deal this period of back-to-back transfers for Galatasaray can be started.

Meanwhile, Youness Belhanda as player which head coach Igor Tudor plans to use in place of Wesley Sneijder has lots of potential to show top performance at the team next season.

Besiktas has recieved 525,000 euro share from Mario Gomez transfer to Wolfsburg from Fiorentina.

Even through the mass media, especially during this summer transfer window has been not mentioned much about an issue with Besiktas and Fiorentina regarding of recieving its share of the 50% for Mario Gomez transfer to Wolfsburg according to deal from both clubs, Besiktas has announced it has recieved its share.

According to statement provided by Besiktas, Wolfsburg has bought Mario Gomez 1,050,000 euro which means that the Besiktas would in return recieve 525,000 euro for this share. It needs to be remembered that legitimacy of this is still being questioned especially from media report and even through did accept its value it did state during same statement that it would follow this case to make it wasnt tricked. It needs to be reminded that transfer fee which was discussed by media was true but due of percentages recieved  by managers club has only recieved 1,050,000 euro. It is still unclear if Fiorentina is telling truth but hopefully with Besiktas closing case with its lawyers would close this question once for all.

There is no particular reason really for Fiorentina to trick Besiktas but it doesnt mean it wouldnt do so, so its right for Besiktas to do this investigation but hopefully it will be wrong as otherwise relationship with both teams would have negative consequinces.

Edin Visca is in demand during this summer transfer window.

One of the most-talked players during this summer transfer window has been Basaksehirspor player Edin Visca with reports that number of the clubs are interested to transfer him, with Trabzonspor being one of the most active and demanding teams.

In fact, during this week alone we had heard lots of transfer offers from Trabzonspor to Basaksehirspor with some of providing 2 players to exhange with cash while others reports stated as much as 4 players. Meanwhile, Fenerbahce has made statement today stating that it has no interest to transfer Basaksehirspor player Edin Visca. Surely, another aspect which has made this rumours to appear is statement from Edin Visca that even through he had great years with his team and would be at qualifying stage of Champions League in upcoming seasons its time for him to change club, preferably towards big 4 clubs in Turkey. Tamer Tuna has signed 3-year contract with Goztepe.

Goztepe has announced today officially that it has appointed its new head coach Besiktas and Senol Gunes ex-assistant coach Tamer Tuna for 3 years. After providing a great success for Besiktas with winning league title two seasons back-to-back Tamer Tuna now aims to use this experience to newly-relegated Izmir side.

Stating that Tamer Tuna during today's signing ceremony has made it clear that he does have his foot at the ground underlying that first aim during 1st season is to make a team which would be aiming to stay at the Super League and get used to the top division and afterwards would seek for higher aims in upcoming seasons. Certainly coming from Besiktas could mean that Goztepe might get easiness at transferring players from Besiktas which dont recieve much playing time or dont want to keep for reasonable price. As been mentioned in previous our blogs, Tamer Tuna has a great potential to be successful head coach and could keep team at the league without much trouble as long as he stays focussed and does have a great understanding and same aims with players and administrators. As been mentioned before it is important to keep Izmir side at the Super League for longer period of time as it being 3rd largest city in Turkey.

Of course, it wont be an easy task both for Tamer Tuna and club as it would be his first experience at the Super League as head coach but next season would show how successful he will be and so is whole team.

Antalyaspor has transferred Ruud Boffin for 3 years.

Antalyaspor has transferred Eskisehirspor player Ruud Boffin who is one of the leading goalkeepers at the Turkey among foreigners - for 3 years. To all respect to Eskisehirspor and other clubs in 1st division, but Ruud Boffin is a player which should be at the Super League.

And he has been brought back after one-year absense from top division to the Antalyaspor a side which does a big aims for next season and aims to fight for Europa League and certainly Ruud Boffin role of making this into reality would be a lot, and he would be feeling lots of pressure but he can fulfill it. Antalyaspor has been as been stated before a team which would be able to fight for Europa League even more with highly focussed coach Riza Calimbay arleady existing players and players who are used to pressure such as Maicon and Menez who have just joined the team. Surely, Antalyaspor is been talked a lot during this summer but there is big chance their will continue so in next season.

Ruud Boffin surely will not have an issue at adapting to the top division and he did keep great performance during Eskisehirspor last season which has almost brought them back to the Super League from lower division.

Kayserispor is mainly focussed to Romanian players in this transfer window.

As Romanian coach Marius Sumudica has become head coach of the Kayserispor the club has focussed mainly to the Romanian-based players due to the factor that Sumudica is being familiar with players from his country and has arleady shown some Romanian euphoria at team.

Kayserispor has transferred today in fact two Romanian player Silviu Lung from Astra for 3 years and also Steaua Bucharest Brasilian player Fernando Bordrin for 2 years. There is certainly an expectation that this focus to the Romanian market would be carried on as Sumudica would certainly aim to get as much as possible players from his home country as long as their would be at higher quality. This factor would certainly lead misunderstanding both with the head coaches and players with those personaltieis and in particular. It is just important that it would not raise some issues with other nationalities players but there is no reason why it should be much issue at the future. As remembered, Galatasaray best years has been when it was dominated with Romanian players but again it was different time when Galatasaray was different so were Romanian players, so it doesnt mean that Kayserispor would improve drastically but in same time it needs to aim to perfom much better compare to last season.

In general Romanian players tend to show top performance at Super League and we would see if Kayserispor would be able to raise level of the team next season.
