Besiktas actively complains about Tolga Ozkalfa who refereed game against Konyaspor.

Besiktas Turkish Cup quarter-final 1st leg game against Konyaspor has mainly been dominated by questionable decision by the referee of the game Tolga Ozkalfa especially with the decision of red card towards Marcelo at the 65th minute.

Besiktas argues that prior to red card that position was offside and hence the red card which was given to the Marcelo should not be given and in fact today it had send letter to Turkish Football Federation asking to either delay or cancel this decision. The argument given by the Besiktas that the team was dominating the game prior to red card is true and could be observed at the game however Konyaspor had also performed pretty well and has found two good quality goals. Besiktas would surely complain a lot but the result of the game could not be changed even through it is notable that some works needs to be done with referees in the Turkey.

Surely, another reason why Besiktas is being so active in this issue is that with Marcelo having red card it doesnt have any alternative defence at the Valentine Day game against Basaksehirspor. Right now Besiktas is looking for solutions and alternatives to defence and obviously tries its best to make sure that Marcelo will play on Sunday for very crucial game against strong opponent.

Galatasaray focus is on Cup and Europa League right now. 

Even through Galatasaray has won Akhisar Belediyespor during Turkish Cup quarter-final 1st leg game away with 2:1 scoreline at very difficult conditioned field, the team still got some criticism from critics and there some issues which should be solved.

Saying that and as been mentioned several times the performance of Galatasaray at Turkish Cup seems to be very different and more active compare to Super Leaugue. It is very questionable if
Galatasaray would respond like that to Akhisar winning 1:0 if it took place at league. Galatasaray does seem to show its main adjective is to get Turkish Cup as easiest way to Europa League next season and with Europa League Lazio game being next week the team might also try to focus towards it. Galatasaray head coach Mustafa Denizli does show that his spot is not easy and intends to stay as head coach meanwhile as he stated yesterday.

Right now for rest of the season it is more productive to look at performance of team at Turkish Cup and Europa League to argue about capability of team as team has lost concentration at the Super League with maybe only derby games might give additional motivation to a team.

Kasimpasa game is good chance for Fenerbahce to get high motivation and focus again.

Fenerbahce is returning to the Super League and title race with Besiktas against very tough game tomorrow against Kasimpasa. There are number of teams whose are even outside title race themselves can easily provide difficult time especially ones who are aiming to Europa League spot like Kasimpasa.

It is true that Fenerbahce performance is currently in decline which was observed at the game against Antalyaspor last week and Amed Sportif at the Turkish Cup, and playing at home against Kasimpasa and getting win would be great motivational boost to the league once again and especially prior to Europa League last 32 game against Lokomotiv Moscow, surely 1st priority for a team this season. With Raul Meireles also coming back to the team and possibly starting 11 could provide extra performance and motivation to him and rest of the team.

As been mentioned, this game is very important prior to game against Lokomotiv Moscow and good result of this could once again raise motivation which is crucial for a team right now.
