Rest of Trabzonspor season will be without targets.

Trabzonspor was a team which was praised with its performance at the Turkish Cup group stages and its focus towards the tournament and target it has set by winning it at our blog. However, with meeting with tough opponent, Akhisar Belediyespor at the Turkish Cup last 16 game it had lost the game and hence ended ıts journey at the Turkish Cup and has very likely ended the season without
any big achievements.

To be fair to the Trabzonspor, Akhisar Belediyespor performance at this season is very impressive and it was difficult task for Trabzonspor even through it had played good football creating some chances at the game yesterday, however as head coach Hami Mandirali has stated at the end of the game there is seem to be lack of concentration among the players which surely affects to the team negatively. Hami Mandirali surely has lots of things to do and fix at the club and it wont easy for him at all, but as he says he took following job knowing this factor and he needs to treat them.

Trabzonspor as been stated above doesnt have much targets left at this season even through as been stated yesterday it can try to get to the European spot at the league however its lost a chance to get that spot in easier way via Turkish Cup.

All 8 clubs would like to win Turkish Cup.

Turkish Cup quarter-final and semi-final draw has been taken today. There are some interesting fixtures taking place such as Galatasaray against Akhisar Belediyespor once again at the tournament and Besiktas versus Konyaspor. This games could be tough as both Konyaspor and Akhisar Belediyespor might target Turkish Cup as the chance to get to the European spot regardless how it ended Super League table, so therefore the motivation and focus of this teams could be very different compare to at the league and provide difficult time for those Istanbul clubs.

Both Galatasaray and Besiktas, and especially Galatasaray, has stated that Turkish Cup is important for them but those games wont be easy for them at all so their need to give full focus and effort at those games, as usual. It will be highly expected that all of the teams at this stage would provide its best squads at those games and will play with perfect starting 11 or otherwise words that their take tournament seriously will not be seen in reality.

It does look like Turkish Cup excitement will start from quarter-finals and we might see very good quality football of all 8 teams who would like to win competition.

Fenerbahce - Amed Sportif game in Diyarbakir would be played without supporters.

Fenerbahce and Amed Sportif game needs special attention given at the blog due of political situation and Amed Sportif being a club from Diyarbakir, Turkish capital of Kurdish population. It became announced that game between two teams in Diyarbakir will be played without supporters.

The following decision has come from provocative behaviour of Amed Sportif fans during last 16 game against Bursaspor. To avoid that and also to give punishment to the club, Turkish Football Federation has made right decision to play games without any supporters even through it would affect to quality of game negatively. But currently safety of fans and players is more crucial and also for game to be played without huge problems and provacative behaviour.

One of the reason why Amed get so far is that bright of Kurdish population while the conflict is going on at the region and therefore despite of being weaker team this special motivation at Amed will make Fenerbahce task a bit harder than if it played with another 2nd league team. But still naturally Fenerbahce is strong favourite at this game.

- Eskisehirspor has recieved 15,000 TL from Professional Football Disciplinary Committee for not providing interviews after game and additional 15,000 TL for lights not working.

- Turkish Football Federation has announced referrars to Professional Football Disciplinary Committee, which are: 
- Kayserispor were for club player Orhan Cikiricki non-sportmanship behaviour against Fenerbahce.
- Bursaspor, Konyaspor, Antalyaspor Trabzonspor for fans behaviour and breaking rules.
-Besiktas for events at the field.

- Galatasaray CEO Dursun Ozbek: We dont pay players bonus for Turkish Cup, we play for fans. We have loss of 120 million euro.We had appointed our head coach Mustafa Denizli with unanimous decision, noone was against his appointment. We did want to sign Everton player Oumar Niasse but Lokomotiv Moscow has requested high transfer fee.

- Antalyaspor has signed Cruzeiro player Charles Da Silva , Sivasspor player Yekta Kurtulis and Altayspor player Onur Parlar.

- Balikesirspor has loaned Antalyaspor player Halil Ibrahim Tuna until end of the season.

- Akhisar Belediyespor is expecting to recieve 5% of transfer fee regarding of transfer of Oumar Niasse from Lokomotiv Moscow to Everton.

- Turkish Football Federation vice- CEO Ali Durust: There would not be anything extra taken for security at Amed Sportif-Fenerbahce game.

- Besiktas could still sell Ersan Gulum to Shanghai Shenhua since transfer window in China is open until end of February.

- Trabzonspor player Guray Vural has been reported not to be serious.

- Galatasaray player Lukas Podolski has joined training sessions today after recovering from injury.

- Fenerbahce has decided to pay bonuses according to points not to the games won.
