Trabzonspor provides attacking football against Kayserispor
Trabzonspor has provided impressive performance at today's game against Kayserispor at which it has won the game with 2:1 scoreline with much improved football from last week and showing that it was aiming to dominate the game despite of conceding goal at the 79th minute.
One of the interesting aspects was the fact that both sides have missed penalty with Kayserispor player Biseswar and Trabzonspor player Muhammet Demir have both shoot the ball directly to the goalkeepers hand without them even moving an inch. Despite of this, Trabzonspor has mainly controlled ball especially at the first half which has led for Marko Marin scoring at 35th minute with Erkan Yilmaz scoring 2nd goal. In fact, Trabzonspor have almost scored 3rd goal. The second half Trabzonspor has become playing a bit slower but still aimed to control ball and despite of conceding at 79th minute, didnt allow Kayserispor to create many chances.
As usual it is hard to state if this game would give high morale to Trabzonspor as it tends to play good at one game and another but Galatasaray really bad performance during last weeks at the league does make them favourite at next week game and if it does achieve to get a win then it would also raise motivation within the team. This could be good opportunity for a team to start at least winning series at the league.
Meanwhile, Kayserispor is so far is 5 points ahead of relegation zone and teams at that area lately improving game it could provide them into worrying area as long it doesnt react fast and start playing more attacking and controlling game. As it tends to be at that area, Kayserispor needs to have self-belief and morale to achieve that.
Besiktas got very important one point
Besiktas which was observed to be as most formed team right now with its league performance has managed to turned its 2:0 loss to the 2:2 scoreline in the last minutes of this very important game. Basaksehirspor who was always difficult team for big "4" teams has provided lots of stress to the Besiktas players.
As always at the game Besiktas player Mario Gomez has provided high number of chances but in this game his realisation was very low and he carried missing goals during 1st half of the game. Basaksehirspor has managed to use its oppotunities during the game very effectively and has scored 2 goals in the first 55 minutes and was going to surprising win. However, Besiktas after 83rd minute has managed two very important goals from Cenk Tosun and Atiba Hutchinson. Even through this draw could be seen as a result which provide harm at title race still managed to get 1 point from game which it can leave with 0, as each point is important at in the race race.
As soon as playing against such difficult game, Besiktas will play against Mersin Idman Yurdu as a 18th week game which was delayed due of heavy snowing in Istanbul. Mersin Idman Yurdu despite being still below at league, is with high motivation especially after winning Galatasaray.
Fenerbahce is slightly favourite against Lokomotiv Moscow.
Fenerbahce will restart its European season in the game against Lokomotiv Moscow at last 32 of the Europa League with high motivation after 3:1 win against Kasimpasa despite of loss of performance prior before this Friday game.
It is hard to call which team is more favourable at the game tommorrow as Lokomotiv Moscow is an serious opponent, however winter break at Russia still taking place in the sense of morale and stamina is higher at Fenerbahce. Coming to the squad Fenerbahce has much stronger one and
Lokomotiv has become even more weaker while losing its key player Oummar Niasse. All of the factors does show Fenerbahce to be more favourable however this season has shown this could not be enough for the win for Fenerbahce as it got some unexpected results during the season.
One thing is certain for tomorrow Fenerbahce should use its home advantage strongly and with a help try to use attacking football against Lokomotiv Moscow and get result which would be helpful at returned game next week.
