Galatasaray has got draw despite of unsatisfactorily performance
Even through Galatasaray didnt lose Europa League last 32 1st leg game against Lazio in Istanbul, the way team has performed has raised number of question marks regarding if team has chance to qualify to next stage, especially taking account that 2nd half performance of the team was very poor with only one dangerous attack.
Galatasaray poor performance at the domestic league, as been stated at the yesterday blog, has surely has affected negatively to the team in today's game which has ended with 1:1 scoreline. Even through Lazio did provide an image that it was happy with scoreline as it task would be easier in Italy and with having away goal at the hand from today's performance. However, Galatasaray which is known to fight until last minute in the past season's both at Europe and Super League has allowed Lazio to control ball at the 2nd half and despite of the goal by Sabri Sarioglu and number of the half-attacks, Galatasaray has provided pretty poor performance at such an important game for the club. Galatasaray surely needs to improve for the next week 2nd leg game in Italy.
Galatasaray recent poor performance and lack of motivation has surely been moved to today's game and shown that situation at the club are not well. Taking account that team has especially provided poor performance also raises if stamina of the players is enough or is it just psychological issues. This weekend game against Trabzonspor game could be very important in sense of raising morale and motivation for 2nd leg game.

After perfect game against Lokomotiv Moscow during Europa League last 32 1st leg game, the only negative aspect of the team which could be realised is once again signs of unhappiness by club player Robin van Persie despite of providing a great football against Lokomotiv Moscow on Tuesday.
As most of the players around the world, van Persie was sad to be substituted by Fenerbahce head coach Vitor Pereira especially when he was playing his best football since joining the club. His anger could be towards himself as he sees it as self-criticism and not being able to provide his maximum to the team and being worried to be substituted as the game progresses. This all actions is towards himself and not towards whole team or his teammate Fernandao who he is fighting for starting 11 spot. Every player, especially one who has good career wants to play for whole game and provide his best and get rewarded by goals and reactions from supporters and not be able to achieve that or thinking that it doesnt achieve that will affect to psychologically of the player.
Fenerbahce head coach Vitor Pereira does need to play Robin van Persie more to keep him happy and hoping that he would find goals as he wants to be useful to the club and feel like he is.
