Basaksehirspor raised its motivation prior to Turkish Cup final with winning last game of season.

Basaksehirspor has completed season with 3:1 scoreline and hence has ended season at 5th spot and in addition has raised confidence and motivation for Turkish Cup final while Trabzonspor didnt finish season with a win despite of good performance in last games.

It needs to be mentioned that apart of ending season at 5th spot and hence getting some monetary advantage from 1 spot ahead, Trabzonspor didnt have much motivation for this game and this did affect to outcome even through it did try to show some good attacking game. In addition, absence of 13 players and hence team playing with more or less 2nd squad did also had affect even through Basaksehirspor did have its absences. TFF has announced that CEO election would be taking place on 22nd June as current CEO Mehmet Buyukeksi has been only one who has announced his candidacy into this positio

Even through Buyukeksi did recieve lots of criticism from different clubs especially from Besiktas during this season, it needs to be reminded that he did get his position in external condition as previous CEO Nihat Ozdemir did resign in sudden manner and in all honest did leave side into difficult condition. With Buyukeksi being CEO he did sort out some issues with referees even through not perfectly, sort out broadcasting rights issue, foreign player limit discussion been made and also make difficult issue of point deduction following Hatayspor and Gaziantep not leaving side and he managed that within 1 year.
