Galatasaray are 2022-23 champions of Super League.
Galatasaray has won 2022-23 Super League title which also has coincided with 100th anniversary of Turkish Republic as all clubs have been taken this season very seriously due of its significance.
Galatasaray has shown pretty strong performance especially after 7th week of the season and also had 14 game winning series which is being record in this league history, and that series has started before World Cup 2022 and hence that break didnt affect that incredible run. It needs to be mentioned that without doubt Mauro Icardi despite of him taking some time to get used to team and league, did dominate and has played an important role with this title and hence its been especially pleasant to see that he did score 2 goals at title game with showing high level peerformance. Coming to game, it needs to be mentioned that during 1st half Ankaragucu did show that it doesnt have plans to give win easily to Galatasaray but it didnt manage to provide such performance in 2nd half and after 3:1 it could be noted that team did become champions as it ended fighting belief of Ankaragucu.
There were times as does every club experience during season when Galatasaray didnt show very good performance but in overall it did well-deserved title.
Fenerbahce got win despite of bad news from Ankara.
Fenerbahce did manage to get win against Antalyaspor with 2:0 scoreline despite of mentally being on Ankaragucu and Galatasaray and has dropped mood when game turned to 3:1.
It needs to be praised that Fenerbahce in fact did start game in manner as it needed to win game and still fighting for title as it did found goal with Enner Valencia and did continue show organised game for most part, as Fenerbahce during previous season when in parallel unwanted results has been coming it did lose motivation confidence and hence concentration. This does go to Jorge Jesus but also to some extend Antalyaspor which didnt provide strong performance as it didnt on previous season. Stating that Fenerbahce still didnt secure its 2nd spot so in this road this win also provide some good outcome.
Fenerbahce would come out to derby game with focus to win champions and also secure its 2nd spot and also still has Turkish Cup final with opportunity to end season with title.
Trabzonspor got back-to-back confident wins.
Trabzonspor which did have very dissapointing season are at least getting close to end season at good note as it got 4:2 win against Giresunspor with conceding 2 goals due of relaxation from 4:0 scoreline.
With Trabzonspor hardly winning in last games, it has been important for them in psychological and also in sense of sending message to supporters and community to get some wins and in last 2 games it does in confident manner and to some extend has regained trust towards Nenad Bjelica for upcoming season.
Hence, Trabzoznspor got another confident winner and would focus to play its 2 last games of season with 2 out of 2.
