What happened in Turkish football today? 27/06/2023

Hatayspor signs Gorkem Saglam.

Hatayspor has signed Gorkem Saglam for 3-years as he has played at Super League on previous season and has been an important transfer for the side who aims to bounce back after devastating earthquake.

Hatayspor so far has been one of the most active sides at the transfer front signing 2 players in 2 days of summer transfer window as Gorkem Saglam is being player who has provide needed performance at the midfielding area and hence provide an important bridge as he did show at Giresunspor where he did show some good performance despite of side being relegated. Therefore, this transfer could be seen good one for Hatayspor as with losing some players earlier this summer, it is capable to build competitive side once again.

Such activity, in this early days of transfer window does show hints that Hatayspor could seek for more of the transfers and we would follow at our accounts.

Goztepe signs Kasimpasa player Tarkan Serbest.

1st league side Goztepe has signed Kasimpasa player Tarkan Serbest which could been seen as good player as with quality and experience of Serbest, he could provide an important help for Izmir side to fight for tickets for Super League once again in upcoming season.

Tarkan Serbest even through might not be seen as player into top 4 clubs, to all requests towards him, is being player at the quality of Super League and whose performance would provide needed help and hence joining ambitious side on lower league could provide him an important role as far going to become one of the key players. While Kasimpasa possibly would be going through some changes and hence without having aims at starting 11 for Serbest possibly team does look for more quality players.

Kasimpasa being mediocre side would still aim for higher spots and hence it would be interesting to see who it would replace player with in this transfer window.

Icardi requests 10 million euro from Galatasaray

Galatasaray player Mauro Icardi agent Wanda Nara has requested 10 million euro following declining an offer from Saudi Arabic side of 25 million euro which does both show willingness of player to stay at club or at least in Europe.

Saudi Arabic clubs are doing lots of work to convince Icardi to join side but it is reported that he doesnt consider to leave to the team or move from Europe which does provide an important advantage to Istanbul giant, especially taking account that it wont have enough financial status. Meanwhile, even through Mauro Icardi really wants to stay at Galatasaray, there is high self-worth value of player so it should be seen normal for him to request 10 million euro to which Galatasaray would need to accept or amount close to it if it really wants him to stay.

It does look like future of Icardi would continue to be uncertain for some time and we would follow on our accounts in upcoming periods.
