What happeend in Turkish football today? 15/08/2023

Turkey are being clear favourites against Latvia.

Turkish National Team would be resuming its route to the Euro 2024 with a game against Latvia at the game where it would be coming out as favourites but in same time has tend to lose points against them or similar opponents.

Despite of number of criticism towards Stefan Kuntz during recent games, it needs to be mentioned that Kuntz did manage to mix German discipline and Turkish emotionality to the national team and this factor could lead to get win as players would provide some focus into the side. Only disadvantage aspect of the Turkey is lack of attacking players as Cenk Tosun and Enes Unal are currently being injured and an important role would be coming to Umut Nayir but as long he doesnt he too excited in his first game, he would be able to find goals in such crucial game. Latvia very likely would play defensive game and looking chances through counter-attacks.

Hence, Turkey would be coming to game where it would need to get 3 points and hence it would provide such performance on the field.

Samsunspor has strong potentiality as team.

Our blog would continue our summary of previous season with sides which been promoted to Super League starting with Samsunspor who are attending after long absences but always been side which did aim for top division.

With Samsun being 2nd biggest city at black sea area, following Trabzon, it also been side which did focus into getting into top division and did provide some memorable and good outcomes back in the 90s and hence it would be focussing to do once again. It needs to be mentioned that side didnt have very good start at lower league but did turn around thing with winning back-to-back and securing its ticket for promotion with 5 leagues left in the season. It needs to be mentioned that Super League is being different level without doubt and team would need to build morecompetitive side but this achievement does show strong potentiality of the team.

Samsunspor would be expected to make team to be able to show strong outcomes and hence would focus to summer transfer window accordingly.

Rizespor would return to Super League stronger.

When Rizespor has been relegated to lower league on 2021-22 season it has been focussed to come back to top division in shortest period as it can and it has managed to do so after 1 season ending at 2nd spot.

Unfortunately, number of teams after being relegated are having serious difficulty to get back on top division after relegation but Rizespor has set an eye and has done everything to come with Bulent Korkmaz with providing top level performance. Showing signs that it was aware of mistakes which has led for them to be relegated, it would also expected to build on that and aim that it wont have same fate on Super League next season. It would very likely to focus into making more competitive side during transfer window without doubt.

Rizespor are returning to Super League as much more experienced side and this would have an impact with upcoming season.
