What happened in Turkish football today? 23/06/2023

Samsunspor has signed Lubomir Satka for 3-years.

Samsunspor has made its first transfer during summer transfer window as it has signed Lech Poznan player Lubomir Satka who is expected to provide significant strength to the side and make it much more competitive for side to be staying at the league.

With taking account that Samsunspor main aim is to be staying at the Super League for upcoming season, it needs to be mentioned that Satka transfer has been very important addition as his defensive performance could be providing an important transfer which would help side to provide strength into defensive area and hence conceded limited amount of goals. It still needs to be mentioned that Samsunspor would need to focus into making some more similar transfer if it wants to get some good results in the end of the season.

Hence, it would be expected side would be making some crucial transfers which we would follow on our pages.

Hatayspor has terminated contract with its player Simon Falette.

Hatayspor has terminated contract with Simon Falette during this summer transfer window as also lots of players has ended contracts with the team and hence it does look like club would need to make some crucial revisions.

Simon Falette without doubt has shown strong and effective performance during previous seasons and did find an important goals which led side to get some positive sides but with so many players leaving team so far during this summer transfer window could be due of some uncertainty worry which been present among players especially foreign ones. Hence, Hatayspor would need to find ways to transfer some new names possibly focussing to Turkish players or focus into its academy as it continues losing players on its squad.

With earthquake effect and also financial issues which club might experience, Hatayspor sadly does look to be have difficult season.

Aziz Yildirim has given strong criticism towards Ali Koc.

Fenerbahce ex-CEO Aziz Yildirim has made very aggressive and heated press conference with criticising Ali Koc CEO period calling for re-election to be taking place as soon as possible.

Aziz Yildirim has stated that club has been going downwards with performance wise since Al Koc has become CEO and club has lost connection and unity with its supporters on the stadium as those fans stop believing and trusting its side. All of this factors hence did have some important issues to the team for poor outcome. Probably one of the important statements which Aziz Yildirim has made is that he would be running as CEO if there is no other opponent announced Ali Koc.

It would be interesting to see if any Ali Koc would be given as we would follow all developments in our pages.
