Ertugrul Dogan has announced his candidacy for Trabzonspor CEO post

Trabzonspor has been one of the most newsmaking team at Super League in last 24 hours, with one of the most important development has been for club caretaker CEO Ertugrul Dogan, who is also being vice-CEO post, has announced his candidacy for CEO position.

Ertugrul Dogan has been at administration team since appointment of Ahmet Agaoglu at the CEO post and has been 2nd man at the side and hence is also playing role with strong performance both on field and economically during this period and also is being familiar into current issues to be solved at the team which would put him into advantegous position. In fact,it is expected that he would be running as single candidate and it is being unlikely for some other names to be named as he does have trust in all administration side of the team and also knowledge to solve those issues.

Therefore, in current condition it could be stated that he would be best option for the position and as noted it is very likely he would go to election single-handedly.

Abdullah Avci has resigned from his post.

Another development which has been without doubt much more unexpected at Trabzonspor front has been resignation of Abdullah Avci from his post which both be done to recent results and also open doors to new administration team.

As remembered, earlier this year Abdullah Avci has been considering to resign from his post but has been prevented but it needs to be mentioned that this season both in squad and also on field team has been poorly managed, total opposite of previous season. Trabzonspor did lose lots of key players of previous season and didnt provide much replacements of them despite of significant amount of money. It needs to be admitted that one of the main positions which needs to be paid would be coach and Avci being self-critical did resign from his post.

It is being unclear if Trabzonspor would start having talks prior to CEO election later this month or would start having negotiations in this week.

Sevilla and Fenerbahce game has been categorised as high risk

Europa League last 16 1st leg game between Sevilla and Fenerbahce has been categorised as high risk due of secuirty by Spanish authorities due of some incidents which mainly did happen from Spanish side during this competition.

It needs to be mentioned that there would be expected to be significant Fenerbahce supporters in that game and this decision could provide some limitations but again is not expected to affect much negatively into the field despite of extra security measures. If done rightly, this measures could provide calm atmosphere around stadiums and fans also.

Due of nature of game and fans culture Spanish authority has made such precautions measures without doubt.
