Besiktas keeps its chance for 2nd spot alive with Basaksehirspor win

Besiktas has got an important win against Basaksehirspor with 2:0 scoreline as it has secured 3rd spot in the end of the week and keeps its chances alive for 2nd spot but it needs to be mentioned that it didnt provide necessarily strong performance.

With Basaksehirspor coming to this game in pretty tired manner and also being focussed to 2nd leg game at the Europa League tie against Gent, it would be tired with its performance and also red card from Adnan Januzaj had let an opponent to show any resistance. It needs to be mentioned that despite of winning game with good individual performance and shot from Vincent Aboubakar, Besiktas did provide poor performance without getting too much chances and Basaksehirspor in fact has shown much more aggressive performance even after being with 10 men. It needs to be mentioned that goal from Masuaku at 56th minute has been turning point as Basaksehirspor has lost concentration and both mentally and physically let opponent to get score which it seeked for.

Basaksehirspor did come out to the game with showing positive game despite of pressure and tiredness from Gent tie and did manage to do that until 2:0 but it did fail to provide any response both mentally and physically. Right now side would need to focus to get good score against Gent on 15th March.

Besiktas did get get back-to-back and keeps its chances for 2nd spot alive with such win and most important get confidence and motivation boost for upcoming weeks.

Trabzonspor has got impressive at time of uncertainties.

Trabzonspor has got confident win against in-form Adana Demirspor with 4:1 scoreline as it showed strong transformation at 2nd half thanks to Edin Visca who has made team much more effectivr and stronger.

It needs to be mentioned that Trabzonspor did come out to the game with lots of uncertainties as club CEO Ahmet Agaoglu and head coach Abdullah Avci has resigned in last few days so there were some worries that Trabzonspor would be able to show top level game. It needs to be mentioned that to some extend this has been case during 1st half as it has provided ineffective game despite of scoring an early goal by Yusuf Yazici and also red card from Youness Belhanda as Adana Demirspor has got equaliser in the end of the half. However, with introduction of the Edin Visca and Marek Hamsik and having an extra player on the field has made things easier for Trabzonspor as it shown strong attacking game and has looked much more organising game with scoring 3 goals more. Therefore caretaker coach Orhan Ak did have very good start of his reign and possibly could give sign to administrators that he could be good option as coach until end of the season.

Adana Demirspor did come out to the game as favourites when looking both to form and also side fighting for top 4 spot at the league but red card of Youness Belhanda without doubt had a negative impact to the team. Now side owuld need to show some response after such loss.

Therefore, Trabzonspor did show some good response and did bounce back pretty strong manner after uncertainties at the club and did get confidence and motivation to carry on good performance in upcoming weeks.

Zaniolo shows fast adaptation to team as his goal brought win to side.

Galatasaray continues its winning run as it has raised it record-breaking 14 games back-to-back as it has beaten Kasimpasa with single goal from newly-signed Nicolo Zaniolo but it has been behind in the sense of performance.

It needs to be mentioned that both sides during game did show pretty organised defensive game but has been pretty poor at attacking game which without doubt did lead for low-tempo game especially at last 20 minutes where even Galatasaray supporters went quiet from boredom. Main positive note from Galatasaray among goal-scoreline has been of course Nicolo Zaniolo scoring a winning goal on 57th minute, after 12 minutes to entering field and does show his quality and early adaptation. Galatasaray did have decline of performance compare to before devastating earthquake break and it has been lucky for Kasimpasa not providing much attacking pressure or scoreline of the game could be very difficult.

Galatasaray hence continues its winning run and being side to beat but it would need to get lessons from this game as we are entering to final stages of the season and Fenerbahce continues to provide pressure.
