TFF made final statement regarding about relegation and promotion of the clubs at the Super League in the end of the season stating that 2 clubs would be relegated and 4 teams would promoted making total number of clubs in next season as 20.

As it is known, devastating earthquake which has affected both Hatayspor and Gaziantep had also affected Turkish football season as both clubs in understandable manner has requested not to complete season. Since clubs would not be playing for rest of the season, it has been decided to make their spot secured for upcoming season. Without changing guidelines of number of sides being promoted on lower leagues, it has been decided that 20 clubs would be taking place in upcoming place. This statement has been made following statement from Umraniyespor CEO that clubs are considering to lift relegation in this season.

This statement what has been known for around a month but to end rumours and speculations on this topic.

Besiktas provides revolutionary demands for this season.

Besiktas has made straight-forward and pretty strong and to some extend aggressive statement regarding of issues which are taking place right now at the Turkish football.

At its statement it has been focussed both into heated arguments which is taking place between Fenerbahce and Galatasaray regarding referee performances and also points from Gaziantep and Hatayspor which would not complete this season. Even through Besiktas does rightfully argue that both Fenerbahce and Galatasaray, two main contenders for title, do make statements to make their position much strong and easier it needs to be mentioned that regarding not counting all points of Gaziantep and Hatayspor is focussed into self interest, as it did lose points to this sides and adding points from this games would make them strong title contenders also. Besiktas also asks for VAR recording to be announced for all games during this season, request which most likely would be ignored by TFF.

Besiktas did ask for revolutionary demands which does show, to some extend rightfully, regarding how this season would be run but TFF accepting them would provide serious issues in near future.

Mesut Ozil has ended footballing career.

One of the best players in recent history, Turkish-originated German player Mesut Ozil has ended his footballing career while being at Basaksehirspor with great achievements in the past.

Even through Mesut Ozil did come to Fenerbahce and later movement to Basaksehirspor wasnt very memorable and successful as he did fight with recent injuries, as it would be reminded strong willingness of Arsenal to sell him, he does have great historical success both for German National Team and at Real Madrid. In fact, he made great partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid years and has played a big role for lots of titles in the team. Despite of choosing of playing for Germany, he never also forgotten his Turkish roots and been strong defender of Turkish and Turkic words matters for years.

Hence, Mesut Ozil last years were not very successful but he did make a huge mark to footballing world without doubt.
