What happened in Turkish football today? 19/02/2023

Kasimpasa loans Papy Djoboloudji until end of the season.

Kasimpasa continues making deals with players which players from Hatayspor and Gaziantep as this time it has made loan deal with Papy Djoboulodji who without doubt would provide significant strength to the side for rest of the season.

Due of devastating earthquake of 7.7 and 7.6 at Hatay and Gaziantep has led for both teams to get out from squad and allowing players to be loaned to other side to carry on playing professional football. Without doubt, Djoboulodji is being one of the strongest and effective sides at Gaziantep during this season and without doubt Kasimpasa to loan him would be seen as an important addition to the side. Kasimpasa are not having very good season and are using this opportunities, if it allowed to say so, in good manner and does continue to strength its squad for rest of the season.

As would be expected right now focus has been towards players which are available at Gaziantep and Hatay and we would see if clubs would continue to use such opportunities.

Kerem Akturkoglu opens for sale ball which he scored hat-trick with.

Goodwill actions from Turkish footballing world with donation towards areas which been affected by earthquake are continuing as Galatasaray player Kerem Akturkoglu is following suit of his head coach Okan Buruk.

As it is known, Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk has donated his footballing shirts from playing period from Galatasaray and Inter Milan into open sale from which all money would be going towards earthquake donation. Galatasaray player Kerem Akturkoglu has given into open sale football with which he has scored hatrick against Basaksehirspor win of 7:0 scoreline. This without doubt is being meaningful action as he did collect this ball as special event but now is openning into sale for better good.

With both Buruk and Akturkoglu doing such meaningful action, some other players could follow suit in upcoming days.

Rakow are interested to sign Fenerbahce player Serdar Dursun.

One of the interesting transfer rumours from this day has been that Polish league leaders Rakow are interested to transfer Fenerbahce player Serdar Dursun who is not recieving lots of playing time during this season.

Rakow are currently being into league leaders as Polish Ekstraklasa and currently focussing into winning title and to achieve that they are focussed to sign strong attacking player and with economical possibilities it does see Dursun as good alternative as he does have good scoring rate even through due of quality he hardly recieves playing time. Even through such move could be seen as going backwards by some, it would be actually be smart move as he would be able to recieve playing time and with that possibly develop into better player.

Rakow could hence do some actions in this transfer area and as always we would follow latest developments.
