Galatasaray has won against Umraniyespor where it had some defence issues.
Galatasaray has got an important win for its title race as it has managed to get win against Umraniyespor with 3:2 scoreline at the game where side didnt provide very good performance and to some extend did treat game especially defence as they would win game.
Interestingly, we are seeing strong praise for Turkish sports media performance of Galatasaray which has won in big difficulty at the home ground against last spot side. Our blog as always will be impartial and would admit that Galatasaray didnt provide very good performance especially when it came to defence as Umraniyespor has got into high number of opportunities and could even score more goals due of defensive performance. Ina all fairness, Galatasaray attackers didnt provide poor game as it was rich with opportunities for 90 minutes and did create some good chances without being to pass in-form opponent goalkeeper. However, once again with attacking quality of Galatasaray, especially from Mauro Icardi Panelka goal and also great goal from header. Galatasaray hence has got an important win raising streak to 11 but it has been pretty lucky today.
Umraniyespor meanwhile needs to be praised for its performance also as it has provided strong and attacking game and hence continues to be praised for its attacking and positive game by everyone but due of issues it has during last minutes continues to lose important points.
Galantasaray hence continues showing back-to-back wins but this game and especially defence would be warning signs for the team without doubt.
Trabzonspor continues winning at home.
Trabzonspor continues it winning streak at home ground as it has beaten Antalyaspor with providing a confident performance with beating scoreline 2:0 and has shown an effective performance with help of its supporters.
As it was seen during this season, Trabzonspor are showing two different performance both at home and away as it has shown once again strong reaction from loss an away game and has provided confident attacking game as it found a goal on 34th minute, with one goal being disallowed on earlier minutes without giving much chances to Antalyaspor. Therefore, it needs to be mentioned that Trabzonspor supporters does play probably most effective role in the club as it tends to push team forward which does explain why side is not showing similar game at away. This win for sure would provide needed motivation and confidence against Galatasaray but apart of beating their arch-rivals this weekend, it would even more focus to get win at away game.
Antalyaspor on their part did have an issue to get into game especially in the beginning with looking to be getting control of the ball and has allowed for Trabzonspor to control game and hence create chances. Antalyaspor are being on serious decline right now in performance and would need to find solutions.
Trabzonspor continues showing strong performance at home ground and getting results but it needs to find wins at away games especially as it would play against league leaders Galatasaray this weekend.
Besiktas lost 2 crucial points against Fatih Karagumruk
Besiktas has lost without doubt 2 points when looking into position it is right now at the standings, but when looking into how it has performed against Fatih Karagumruk it could be argued that it has gained 1 point.
Fatih Karagumruk did provide strong and more organised game compare to Besiktas but did provide slightly scare football after equalising goal which without doubt has been main reason for 1 point for both sides. Besiktas didnt come out to the game with high tempo and also willingness from players which has been quite suprising for a team which did manage to win 5 games back-to-back in the league games, and stating its been due of tiredness from Senol Gunes could also be unacceptable as players tend to be motivated when getting wins. And even if it is case, Senol Gunes should have figured out and go through some rotation at the place where needed. Some Besiktas fans and pundits could be hoping that this point might be helpful in upcoming weeks, but 9 point difference against Galatasaray and 5 points from Fenerbahce could be problematic as both sides are in good form for sure.
Besiktas did lose 2 points and as league continues, those could be points which Besiktas could be looking for in upcoming weeks for sure.
