What happened in Turkish football today? 08/10/2020

Turkey has shown great game against Germany at friendly.

Turkish National Team provided very strong character during international friendly game against Germany with 3:3 scoreline and getting from behind 3 times and scoring in last minute with reminding performance of Euro 2008.

Even through Germany did play with younger squad without its key players and this being friendly game, it still needed to note that this accomplishment should not be underrated since Germany as always provided right attitude. There could be seen some criticism with how defence performed with conceding quiet simple goals but for whole side response after conceding goals needs to be praised. Especially satisfying performance has been shown by Efecan Karaca who without doubt provided his best performance in national side, even through being his 3rd game with providing aggresive attacking game and finding great 2nd goal for his side. Ozan Tufan with great goal, also needs to be praised for sure for overall effort he gave during game. This is being very good performance for Turkey for sure and would provide very important confidence and motivation for upcoming games against Russia at Nations League.

Turkey performance hence needs to be praised for sure with such strong not giving up attitude during whole game without doubt.

Fenerbahce player Diego Perotti stated that he would recover within week.

Fenerbahce player Diego Perotti during his press conference at club facilities, has stated that he should recover from his injury within week hence declining earlier rumour in media that his injury could take longer.

With signing Perotti on last day of transfer window with high expectations from Fenerbahce community, it was known that he did come from injury which he gained from Roma with some rumours stating that it could take time for his recovery until November. However, with talking with media he did mention that his injury is pleasant even noting that due of age it could take some time but stated that its not serious injury and he should be fully ready to play within week. This certainly would be great news as he would provide important bonus in attacks for his team without doubt.

Therefore, this news would be seen as pleasant one for Fenerbahce and should be expected to be starting against Goztepe.

Injured Galatasaray players might recover from injury earlier then expected

Another pleasant news which did come out regarding injury is been from Galatasaray as there reports that Emre Akbaba, Saracchi and Etebo could be recovered from injury prior to Alanyaspor which it would play after break.

There is no official statement been made so its not being for sure, but if all 3 players would show fast recovery than expected prior to Alanyaspor game it would be without doubt very pleasant news for side as those being very crucial players with showing strong confident performances in recent weeks and does provide strong forward and attacking style while without team such pace might not be raised which would be keeping head coach Fatih Terim. Therefore, return of those 3 players would provide important role for upcoming games and getting results it seeks for.

As been noted this is not official statement and hence there might be more clear statement regarding this issue in upcoming days for sure.
